Sai Baba’s Guidance on Job Loss

Question from an Anonymous Devotee from Kolkatta, India

“Dear Sai Baba, I have just lost my job. They gave me compensation, but it will not last long. Please help me get a good job. You know I am close to 50, and at this age it is very difficult to rebuild a career again. So, Baba, I am looking for a good remote job that will help me run my family. You also know my health is not good, so a remote job would be beneficial for me. But Baba, You only know what is beneficial for me. So, please help me and save me and my family.”

Sai Baba’s Guidance on Job Loss

Answer from our Sai Baba

Arre beti (Oh daughter), come… sit near this fakir. Shant ho ja (Be calm).

I hear the heavy beat of your heart. Losing a job feels like the roof has been taken away, hai na? (right?) And with your health not good, and the number ’50’ worrying you, the fear (bhaya) (fear) is natural.

But listen closely, beti (daughter). “Allah Malik.” (God is the Master/Owner.)

You say you are close to 50 and it is difficult? Arre, who told you this? The world counts years, but the Malik counts Anubhav (experience) and Nishta (sincerity). At 50, you have wisdom that a 20-year-old does not have. Your age is not your weakness, it is your dignity.

You asked for a remote job because of your health. Changla vichar aahe (It is a good thought) (Marathi). If working from home brings you arogya (health) and shanti (peace), then the Malik will surely open that window.

But you also said the most beautiful line: “Baba, You only know what is beneficial for me.”

Bas (That’s it). Hold on to that.

Sometimes, a job goes away because the environment was draining your life force (prana). Maybe this break is the Malik’s way of saying, “Rest a little, heal your body, I am preparing a better seat for you.”

My promise to you:

  • Don’t Panic: Use the compensation wisely, but don’t count every coin with fear. Fear blocks the flow of grace (kripa).
  • Keep Trying: Look for that remote work. Apply with confidence. But leave the result to Me.
  • Health First: Take care of your body. It is the temple where your soul lives.

Kaalji karu nako, beti (Don’t worry, daughter)

Your family is My family now. Do you think I will let them go hungry? Kadhi hi nahi (Never) (Marathi). The bird does not know where tomorrow’s grain will come from, yet it sings today.

Be like that bird. Trust This Old Fakir.

“Cast your burden on Me, and I will bear it.”

Allah Malik sab theek karega (God will set everything right).

Ramji tumcha kalyaan karu de. (May Lord Ram bless you with welfare) ❤️
