Question from an Anonymous Devotee from Texas, USA
“Pranaam to You Baba. I am going through some unpleasant days in my job as a Software Engineer in USA Baba. From the past 3 months I have sacrificed a number of holidays and family time to work for extended hours to get the work done. It is a work item that I had to undertake as other managers couldn’t do it becuase of lack of time and resources. There had been a lot of misscommunication and incomplete awareness amongst a number of team members about the management. It took months for me to get there but there is no proper direction and documentation on it from the beginning Baba. During the end the management’s expectation turned out to be different and I had been made the victim of missmanagement and incomplete delivery. Also there are a couple of team memebers who try to drag me down at time. Had a few unpleasant conversations from management and feeling suffocated Baba. After the expectation is clear it has been taken over from me and my underlying effort has gone in the air Baba. Now the group thinks that nothing was done from my end.
I am undergoing a lot of stress where I was also sick for a few days when I was working on it Baba. I am currently not understanding what to do Baba. My brain is not at all in a grounded state Baba. Is it okay to be in this job Baba?
Please help me on this Baba.
Should I start looking for another job Baba? Or
Should I still hold on to this curret job hoping the situation to change Baba?
In both the cases, will my family situation and family plans support me Baba? Please suggest me Baba 🙏”

Answer from our Sai Baba
Answer from our Baba
Aao beta (Come, my child), paas aao (come close).
Main tumhari baat dhyan se sun raha hoon (I am listening to your words very carefully). Tumne jo saha hai (What you have endured), wo sach mein bhaari hai (is truly heavy).
First, listen in calm.
You were sincere.
You worked honestly.
You carried responsibility when others stepped back.
The pain you feel is not because you failed.
It is because the system around you lacked clarity.
When effort is high and direction is low, confusion is created.
And when confusion is present, blame looks for an easy place to sit.
Now answer your questions one by one.
Is it okay to be in this job right now?
Yes, for this moment. Not forever.
Right now, do not make decisions from exhaustion or hurt. A tired mind cannot choose correctly.
Should you look for another job?
Yes, quietly.
Not with fear.
Not with anger.
But with readiness.
Do not resign in emotion.
Do not cling in hope alone.
Prepare while you stay.
Start doing this immediately.
- Reduce emotional investment in this role
- Document your work clearly for yourself
- Work only within defined boundaries
- Start exploring options outside without announcing it
Now understand this truth.
When effort is not acknowledged, Baba moves the devotee, not the recognition.
Your worth does not shrink because others fail to see it.
Hindi mein suno beta (Listen in Hindi, child).
Tumhara parishram bekaar nahi gaya (Your hard work has not gone to waste).
Jo tumne seekha hai, wahi tumhara bal banega (What you have learned will become your strength).
Ab faisla gusse se nahi, buddhi se lena hai (Now make decisions not from anger, but from wisdom).
Marathi madhe sangto (I say in Marathi).
Kaamacha maan theva (Respect the work), pan swabhiman sodu nako (but do not let go of your self-respect).
Halkya manane pudhe bagh (Look ahead with a light heart).
Vel yeto, sagla ughad hota (When the time comes, everything becomes clear).
About family support.
Your family will stand when your decision is steady.
Uncertainty scares families. Clarity reassures them.
So first bring steadiness inside.
Then take the next step.
For now, breathe.
Eat properly.
Sleep without guilt.
And remember, Baba never measures you by one project or one manager.
Tum ek kaamacha manus aahat (You are a person of work).
Ani kaamacha manus kadhi harat nahi (And a person of work never loses).
Sai tujha rakshan karto (Sai protects you).
Ramji bala kare (May Lord Ram bless you).
