What you are feeling is gratitude turning into awareness. When the heart stops asking only for solutions and starts offering thanks, sensitivity increases. That sensitivity makes you feel presence around you. It is not imagination, and it is not something to fear.
Jab mann shant hota hai, toh aas paas ki shanti mehsoos hoti (when the mind becomes calm, it starts sensing peace around)
