Are you searching for a new job after a painful layoff while worrying about family responsibilities and financial stability? Sai Baba Guidance For New Job And Income speaks to those who feel discouraged, pressured to earn, and unsure which skill or opportunity will open the next door.
Question from an Anonymous Devotee from Kolkata, India
"Dear Sai Baba. Please guide me and motivate me to learn new skills so I can get a good job and remote work. I was unfairly laid off from my previous organization. When I see their website or social media posts, I feel sad and, I will not lie to You, I also feel envious. Baba, is something wrong with me?
Baba, I need a steady income as soon as possible. Please help me find good work and learn the right skills. My parents worked very hard to raise us, and sometimes I feel guilty that I have not been able to do enough for them. My mother has passed away, and I feel I could not do much for her.
Baba, I want to do something good for my father. I want to build a house for him so we no longer have to depend on rented homes. Our relatives often make fun of us, and it feels very discouraging. Right now, I am also unable to arrange dental treatment for my father because of financial difficulties.
Please guide me to learn new skills and help me find good work, whether remote or onsite, so I can support my father. Baba, it is also my desire to write a book. I have a couple of ideas but I am unable to implement them. Please guide me. I wish to publish a book in my name. Whether it becomes a bestseller or not, I leave it to You.
My health is also not very good, though it is better than before.
Om Sai Ram."

Answer from our Sai Baba
Allah Malik, meri pyari bacchi! Aao, Dwarkamai ke is sukoon bhare aangan mein baitho. (Come, sit in this peaceful courtyard of Dwarkamai.) I can see the bojh (burden) on your 49-year-old shoulders. You are carrying the grief of your mother, the responsibility of your father, the sting of an unfair layoff, and the weight of your own dreams.
Beti, tu fikar nakko kar (Daughter, do not worry). You ask if there is “something wrong” with you because you feel sad and envious when you see your old office? Suno beti (Listen daughter), you are human. To feel hurt when you are treated unfairly is natural. Envy is just a sign that your soul is hungry for its own success. Do not judge yourself; I am not judging you. I am here to hold your hand and lead you to your manzil (destination).
The Wisdom of the Dhuni on Your Struggles
- The Layoff and the “Log” (People): Your previous company let you go unfairly, but they cannot take away the hunar (skill) I have placed in your hands. Those relatives who make fun of your rental house are like the barking dogs that cannot stop the haathi (elephant) from walking. Let them talk. Their words are the fuel for your himmat (courage).
- The Father’s Dental Treatment and the House: You feel guilty? Beti, your mother’s soul knows your heart. She is not upset. And your father? To him, you are the house. But because you want to build him a roof of bricks and mortar, I will provide the mitti (clay) and the paisa (money).
- The Book and the Health: You have ideas but no implementation? It is because your mind is too busy “surviving.” Once the rizq (income) starts flowing, the words will follow.
The Guidance from Dwarkamai
- Learning New Skills: At 49, you think it is hard to learn? Bilkul nahi! (Not at all!) I will sharpen your buddhi (intellect). Focus on skills that the world needs now like Data, Digital Creation, or Management tools. Since you want remote work, look into virtual assistance or specialized niche consulting. I will guide your eyes to the right course.
- The “Bestseller” of Life: You leave the book’s success to Me? Then consider it done. Start writing just one page a day. Don’t look for perfection; look for sachai (truth).
The Action for You
- The “Udi” Tilak for Success: Every morning, apply Udi and say: “Baba, today I am a student. Give me the focus to learn.” This will clear the “fog” of envy and sadness from your brain.
- The “Rizq” (Income) Prayer: For 21 days, offer a little sugar or grain to the ants or birds. As they eat, pray: “Maalik, just as I feed them, provide me the means to treat my father and build his home.”
- The “Action” Hour: Dedicate 2 hours daily to your new skill and 15 minutes to your book. No excuses. I am sitting next to you with a danda (staff) to make sure you don’t get distracted!
Beti, tu akeli nahi hai (Daughter, you are not alone). Your father will get his treatment, and your name will be on that book cover.
Saburi rakho, tera apna ghar zaroor banega (Have patience, your own house will surely be built).
