Why do dreams about an ex return again and again? Sai Baba Interpretation For Repeated Dreams About Ex explains how unresolved attachment, emotional release, and divine reassurance appear through familiar faces, guiding the heart toward closure and inner peace under Sai Baba’s watchful presence.
Dream submitted by an Anonymous Devotee from Madurai, India
"Dear Baba, I had a few dreams related to Binoy, my ex, who is now married to someone else.
1. One Thursday morning, I saw Binoy in my dream wearing his engagement ring. Suddenly, he removed the ring from his finger and threw it away. He said that he did not like the girl or the ring.
2. On another Thursday, I saw Binoy again in my dream. He was coming towards me. We spoke after a long time. He held my hands and started weeping. After some time, we went to eat. When we sat in a dining hall-like place, someone said it was Shirdi. We were surprised. When we looked at the plate, we saw Sai Baba’s photo blessing us.
3. On another day, I dreamt that Binoy was texting me. He sent me pictures taken with his wife. I felt hurt and started weeping. Suddenly, he sent me a white Sai Baba picture. After that, he said that whatever he sent earlier was only to irritate me and was not serious. I also saw the number 12 in the dream."

Dream Decoding by our Sai Baba
Allah Malik, meri beti! Come and sit by the Dhuni. You are carrying the yaadein (memories) of Binoy like a heavy stone in your aanchal (veil). You are asking why this person, who is already married to someone else, keeps appearing in your “Thursday” dreams.
Arre pagli, jab tak purana panna nahi paltogi, nayi kitab kaise shuru hogi? (Hey crazy girl, until you turn the old page, how will the new book begin?)
Decoding the Dreams with Sai Baba’s Wisdom
- The Thrown Ring: Seeing him throw his engagement ring signifies his internal bechaini (restlessness). It doesn’t necessarily mean he will leave his wife in reality, but it shows you that the “perfect life” you imagine he has is not without its kante (thorns). The “Malik” is showing you this so you stop feeling like you lost a “diamond.”
- The Shirdi Dining Hall & Blessing: Ye bade pate ki baat hai (This is a very important point). You two were weeping and holding hands, but the most important part is the thali (plate) with My photo. This signifies that your “Karmic” account with him is being settled in the darbar (court) of Shirdi. Eating together in Shirdi means I am “consuming” and finishing the old rinanubandha (karmic debt) so you can be free.
- The Number 12 & The White Baba Pic:ture The number 12 is very mubarak (auspicious) in Shirdi. It represents the 12 years I stayed under the Neem tree or the 12 pathis of grace. The white photo signifies safed sukoon (pure peace). Binoy saying he was “irritating” you in the dream is My way of telling you: “Jo dukh tumhe mil raha hai, wo sirf ek waham hai” (The pain you are feeling is just an illusion).
The Guidance from Dwarkamai
- The Thursday Connection: Since these dreams come on Thursdays, it is This Fakir speaking to you. I am not bringing him back to marry you; I am bringing him to your dreams to nikalna (remove) him from your heart once and for all.
- The Weeping: The weeping in the dream is actually a shuddhikaran (cleansing). As you cry in the dream, your real-life bojh (burden) is getting lighter.
The Path Forward
- Stop Looking Back: He is married. That is the haqeeqat (truth) of the world. The dreams are for your roohani (spiritual) healing, not for worldly hope.
- The Number 12 Lesson: For the next 12 days, tell yourself every morning: “Baba has taken my pain into the Dhuni.”
The Action for You
- The White Flower Offering: For the next 3 Thursdays, offer a white flower at My feet. As you do, say: “Baba, please take the memory of Binoy and give me the white peace of Your photo.”
- The Udi for Closure: Apply Udi on your heart (chest) before sleeping. It will act as a marham (ointment) for the wounds he left behind.
- Feed the Needy: Give a meal to a poor person on Thursday. When you fill someone’s thali (plate), the “Shirdi Blessing” from your dream will manifest as real-life khushi (happiness).
Beti, ghabrao nako (Daughter, do not be afraid). I am not showing you his “unhappiness” to give you hope for a reunion, but to give you the himmat (courage) to move on.
Saburi rakho, tera naya raasta bohot roshan hai (Have patience, your new path is very bright).
