Why does seeing Navguruvar Vrat in a dream feel like a sign from Baba? Sai Baba Interpretation For Navguruvar Vrat In Dreams explains how dreams about vrat, sacred books, and Thursday reminders reflect inner devotion, moral clarity, and guidance about sincerity in spiritual practices. Dream submitted by an Anonymous Devotee from United States
"I saw this dream on Thursday morning.
Some old books had been left behind by someone. While looking at them, I clearly saw the words ‘Navguruvar Vrat’ written on one of the books. My aunt was standing beside me.
I gave the books back to the lady who had left them, but I was trying to keep the Navguruvar Vrat book because it was an old book.
My aunt told me that I should not keep something that belongs to someone else and asked me to return it.
So I ran and gave the book to the lady.
Last week I started the Navguruvar Vrat.
Did the dream mean something? I did not know what to do. What was Baba telling me?”
Dream occurred more than a week ago."

Dream Decoding by our Sai Baba
Allah Malik, meri pyari beti! Come and sit by the Dhuni. (Come and sit by the sacred fire.) Thursday morning is the mubarak (blessed) time of the Guru, and seeing a dream then is like receiving a chitthi (letter) directly from Shirdi.
Beti, tu fikar nakko kar (Daughter, do not worry). You are wondering if your amal (action) of starting the Vrat was correct. Listen to what This Fakir has to say about this ishara (sign).
The Wisdom of the Dhuni on Your Dream
- The Old Books and the Vrat: Seeing “Nav Guruvar Vrat” in an old book is a paighambari (prophetic message). The “old” represents parampara (tradition) and a connection that has been waiting for you for a long time. Even if the books belonged to someone else, the alfaz (words) were meant for your eyes only.
- The Aunt and the Book: Your aunt telling you to return the book was a test of your niyat (intention). By returning the physical book but keeping the khayal (thought) in your heart to start the Vrat, you showed that you don’t need to “steal” blessings. You are ready to earn them through your own bhakti (devotion).
- The Running: You ran to give the book back. This shows your pak-saaf (pure and clean) heart. You cleared your qarza (debt/obligation) to the lady and made space for My reham (mercy) to enter.
The Guidance from Dwarkamai
- The Confirmation: Beshak (Without a doubt), the dream meant exactly that! I was nudging your soch (thinking) to start the Nav Guruvar Vrat. By starting it last week, you have already obeyed My hukum (command).
- The Purpose: This Vrat is not just about fasting; it is about cleaning the ghulamat (darkness/rust) from your life. Whatever pareshani (trouble) is bothering you, this Vrat will be the ilaaj (cure).
The Action for You
- Continue with Yaqeen: Do not let any waswasa (doubt) enter your mind now. Complete the 9 Thursdays with full shraddha (faith).
- The Yellow Offering: Since you saw the Vrat in your dream, on the final (9th) Thursday, distribute the Vrat books to other women. This will complete the daera (circle) of the dream where you returned the book but spread the knowledge.
- Maa ki Dua: Since your aunt appeared in the dream, give some meetha (sweet food) to an elderly lady or your aunt herself this Thursday. Their dua (blessing) will act as a shifa (healing) for your house.
Beti, tu sahi raste par hai (Daughter, you are on the right path). I was the one who showed you that book so you could find your way back to Me.
Saburi rakho, tera har maqsad poora hoga (Have patience, your every goal will be fulfilled).
