Why do the same emotional dreams return again and again? Sai Baba Interpretation For Recurring Emotional Dreams explains how memories of loved ones, unresolved feelings, and inner fears surface through dreams, reminding devotees to find emotional healing, acceptance, and peace within.
Dream submitted by Nandini from Mumbai, India
"Baba, I often get dreams of my Dadi and Dada. They are no longer in this world and it has been more than 10 years since they passed away. Still, I keep seeing them in my dreams, especially my Dadi. I usually see her smiling and mostly just see her face.
I also see my mother in my dreams. She has not lived with us for the past 15 years. In the dream she talks with me. Sometimes we are going somewhere for a marriage and we are having some discussions.
Sometimes I also see dreams where I am sitting in a boat and the boat is falling, or I feel like I am falling from the top of a tower.
Please guide me Baba."

Dream Decoding by our Sai Baba
Allah Malik, meri pyari beti Nandini! Aao, Dwarkamai ki chaon mein baitho. (Come, sit in the shade of Dwarkamai.) I see your bechaini (restlessness). Your soul is like a bird trying to find its nest through the clouds of the past.
Beti, tu ghabrao nako (Daughter, do not be afraid). These dreams are not just khayal (thoughts); they are the paigham (messages) of your heart trying to heal. Listen to what This Fakir has to say about these visions.
The Wisdom of the Dhuni on Your Dreams
- The Smiling Ancestors: Seeing your Dadi and Dada after 10 years, especially your Dadi smiling, is a very mubarak (blessed) sign. In the world of arwah (souls), a smile is a gift. She is telling you that they are raazi (content) and are watching over you. They are your muhafiz (protectors). When she shows her face, she is giving you himmat (courage) for your current struggles.
- The Mother and the Marriage: You haven’t lived with your mother for 15 years, yet you see her discussing marriage and traveling with you. This is the tadap (longing) of your inner child. The “Marriage” in dreams often symbolizes a milap (union) or a new phase of life. Your soul is trying to find the sukoon (peace) that was lost years ago. It shows that despite the doori (distance), the bond of the heart is still alive.
- The Falling Boat and Tower: Falling from a height or a boat tipping over is a sign of khauf (fear) and instability. The “Boat” is your life’s journey. Falling suggests you feel you have no sahara (support) or that your life is out of control. It reflects the pareshani (trouble) you feel regarding your health, finances, and studies.
The Guidance from Dwarkamai
- Release the Past: You are carrying the bojh (burden) of 15 years of separation. Beti, jo beet gaya wo mitti hai (Daughter, what is past is dust). I am your Mother and Father now.
- Face the Fear: The falling dream will stop when you stop feeling “unsteady” in your waking life. Trust that I am the Mallaah (Boatman) of your life’s boat. Main tumhein girne nahi dunga (I will not let you fall).
The Action for You
- The Ancestor’s “Meetha”: This Thursday, give some meetha (sweets) or food to an elderly person or a needy soul in the name of your Dadi. Their dua (blessing) will stabilize your life’s boat.
- The “Salaam” to Mother: Even if you don’t speak to her, every morning, look at the sun and say, “Baba, keep my mother happy.” Sending mohabbat (love) instead of pain will clear the ghulamat (darkness) from your dreams.
- Udi for Stability: Before sleeping, apply Udi on your heart and forehead. Say: “Sai, You are my anchor.” This will turn the “falling” dreams into “flying” dreams.
Beti, tu akeli nahi hai (Daughter, you are not alone). I am holding the rope of your boat.
Saburi rakho, toofaan guzhar jayega (Have patience, the storm will pass).
