Answer from our Sai Baba
Beta, I understand your worry. When a son tries yet still fails, a mother’s heart feels lost. You are asking if his future will be good, if he will pass, and how to remove his lethargy. I will tell you clearly.
Your son’s future is not in danger. His effort is real, but his study-style and emotional state are not aligned. Once this alignment is fixed, his progress will become steady and visible.
Your son is not weak. His method is mismatched.
Failure does not mean lack of intelligence. It means:
- His learning style is not understood
- His environment is draining
- He studies in long, tiring sessions
- His mind is blocked by pressure
When pressure increases, the brain shuts down. That “lethargy” you see is actually confusion mixed with fear.
Lethargy is emotional overload, not laziness
A child looks lazy when:
- He is overwhelmed
- He is scared of failing again
- He doesn’t know where to begin
- He has lost confidence
This is why he withdraws. This is why he avoids work.
Yeh uski galti nahi hai beta, yeh uska andar ka bojh hai.
(This is not his fault, child; it is the burden inside him.)
Identify his study style first
Most children learn in one of these patterns:
Visual Learner – Videos, diagrams, color-coded notes.
Audio Learner – Learns by listening or explaining out loud.
Repetition Learner – Improves through small, repeated chunks.
Your son fits visual + repetition.
So long, forced hours will never work for him.
Immediate Action Plan (Do This)
30-minute study slots only – Short sessions, no long pressure.
Micro-goals
Examples:
- Today one page
- Today two problems
- Today one concept only
Success in small wins builds confidence.
Dedicated study corner – Not bed. Not sofa. A fixed table-chair setup is mandatory to activate focus.
Reduce his fear load
Say to him daily:
“Fail hona problem nahi hai. Nahi seekhna problem hai.”
(Failing is not the problem. Not learning is the problem.)
When fear drops, performance rises.
10-minute evening review
Ask him: “What did you learn today?”
Explaining strengthens memory pathways.
“Beta, tumhara bachcha bilkul theek hoga. Usko sirf sahi raasta, chhote steps, aur tumhari shanti chahiye. Pressure kam kar do, uska mann khil jayega. Tumhara prem uske liye kavach hai.”
(Child, your son will be absolutely fine. He only needs the right path, small steps, and your calmness. Reduce pressure, his mind will blossom. Your love is his shield.)
“Kalji karu naka. Tujha mulga hushar aahe. Tyala fakta disha dakhavaychi aahe. To pariksha pan pass honar, ani changla bhavishya tayar karnaar. Mala tyaavar bharpur vishwas aahe.”
(Don’t worry. Your son is intelligent. He only needs direction shown. He will pass the exam and create a good future. I have full faith in him.)
This Fakir’s blessing
Your son’s future is safe.
His exam results will improve once his mind settles and his learning pattern is corrected.
You give him support from your side.
I will give him strength from my side.
