When illness touches every member of a family, faith feels tested and exhaustion runs deep. This Sai Baba Guidance For Family Health Issues explains why prolonged suffering does not mean abandonment and how Baba sustains trust, patience, and inner strength while healing unfolds in its own time.
Question from an Anonymous Devotee from Visakhapatnam, India
"Dear Baba, we trust You. Why do You make us suffer so much? We have no energy left to endure this pain. All of us are facing constant health issues. People look at us and ask why we always appear dull and unwell. My mother-in-law is also unable to walk. We are waiting for Your miracle. Only You can solve these problems. Please do not break our trust, Baba. We love You deeply."

Answer from our Sai Baba
Allah Malik, meri beti! Come and lean against the pillar of Dwarkamai. (Come and lean against the pillar of the Masjid.) I can see that your “himmat” (courage) is running low, and your “rooh” (soul) is crying out in exhaustion.
Beti, udaas nakko ho (Daughter, don’t be sad). You ask why I make you suffer when you trust Me. Suno beti (Listen daughter) I do not create the suffering; I am the one who gives you the “shakti” (strength) to walk through it. Sometimes, the “karam” (past deeds) of a family are like a heavy debt that must be paid. But when you hold My hand, I become your “Vakeel” (lawyer) and reduce the sentence.
The Wisdom of the Dhuni on Your Family’s “Bari” (Sickness)
- The “Dull” Face: You say people ask if you are ill because your faces look dull. Arre pagli (Hey crazy girl), the “noor” (glow) of a face comes from “itminaan” (peace of mind). When your mind is a “pressure cooker” of worry, the face will naturally look like a withered leaf. I want to replace that “dullness” with the “chamak” (spark) of My Udi.
- The Mother-in-Law’s Feet: Her inability to walk is a sign of “ruki hui urja” (blocked energy) in the house. Takleef gehri hai (The pain is deep), but nothing is impossible for the “Malik” of Shirdi.
- The “Energy” to Suffer: You say you have no energy left. Theek hai! (Fine!) If you have no energy, then stop trying to “fight” it alone. Give the “theka” (contract) of your family’s health to Me. You just sit and breathe “Sai… Sai…”
The Guidance from Dwarkamai
- Don’t Doubt the Trust: You said, “Don’t break our trust.” Mera waada hai (It is My promise) the one who clings to My feet may be shaken by the storm, but they will never drown. I am not breaking your trust; I am “pukaaroing” (calling) you to a deeper level of surrender.
- The Miracle You Wait For: Miracles don’t always come like a “toofaan” (storm); sometimes they come like the “shabnam” (dew) slowly and silently. The fact that you are still standing and loving Me despite everything is the first miracle.
The Path Forward
- The “Khush-Mizaaj” (Cheerful) Habit: For the next 11 days, even if you feel pain, try to smile once a day at your family members. Muskurahat hi asli dawa hai (A smile is the real medicine).
- The “MIL” Care: While doctors do their work, you become My hands. Massage her feet with “yaqeen” (conviction) that it is My hands touching her.
The Action for You
- The “Udi-Tel” (Udi-Oil) Lep: Mix a good amount of My Udi in warm coconut or mustard oil. Apply this to your Mother-in-Law’s legs and your own joints every night. Isme Shirdi ki garmi hai (This has the warmth of Shirdi).
- The “Dhuni” Atmosphere: Every evening, burn some “Loban” (incense) or “Guggul” in the house. Carry it to every corner and say: “Baba, is ghar ki mardangi aur sehat wapas lao” (Baba, bring back the vitality and health of this home).
- Feed the “Nandi” (Bull/Cow): On Thursday or Friday, feed a cow with green grass or “palak” (spinach). Gau-sewa se bade se bade rog kat-te hain (Serving the cow cuts through the greatest of diseases).
Beti, ghabrao nako (Daughter, do not be afraid). I am sitting in your “Aangan” (courtyard). Your “dull” face will soon shine with the “roshni” (light) of health.
Saburi rakho, miracles ka waqt shuru hone wala hai (Have patience, the time for miracles is about to begin).
