Question from an Anonymous Devotee from Bangalore
“Dear Baba, we have together made mistakes unknowingly in the past due to our poor decisions in many situations. Today we are regretting that and also worried about how we will be able to make things for the future for our children and for us. Sometimes everything is so confusing with a small baby and an older daughter in hand and always worried that everything should be fine for them and us. I am also worried as my son 26 months is not advancing in talking and able to understand well and respond well. When will he be able to talk more? Also we are planning to buy a suitable house as the current one is small and when will this happen and help us buy which is suitable for all of us in good location and able to manage financially also. Please can You guide us SaiBaba through the right direction unlike our past decisions which we took unknowingly and be with us always”

Answer from our Sai Baba
Beti, sit gently and breathe for a moment. What you have written comes from a tired but caring heart. You are not careless parents. You are worried, responsible parents carrying many thoughts at once.
Man bharlela aahe, mhanun sagla guntagunt vatat (the mind is full, that is why everything feels tangled)
Let me speak to you slowly and clearly.
First, about “mistakes of the past.”
Every family makes decisions with the understanding they had at that time. Later, when life shows new angles, we call them mistakes. But they were not done with bad intention. Regret means conscience is alive. Guilt only weakens you.
Chuk mhanje paap nahi (a mistake is not a sin)
Now about your children.
Your worry for them shows love. But fear can quietly exhaust you. Your elder child and your small baby need calm parents more than perfect plans.
About your 26-month-old child not talking much yet. Please listen carefully.
Many children start speaking later than others. Some understand more than they express. This does not automatically mean something is wrong. Still, it is important to get a developmental or speech assessment from a pediatrician or speech therapist. This is not labeling. It is early support.
Madad lavkar ghetli tar raasta soपा hoto (when help is taken early, the path becomes easier)
Do not wait in fear. Early guidance helps children bloom naturally. Continue talking, singing, naming objects, playing face to face. Avoid pressure and comparison.
Now about house and future security.
Wanting a better home is natural. But a house should bring peace, not anxiety. Right now, your priority is stability, not size or location. Buying should happen only when finances feel manageable without fear.
Ghar shanti saathi asava, bojha sathi nahi (a home should be for peace, not a burden)
Do not rush because of age or comparison. Many families move step by step. Timing matters more than desire.
About guidance and direction.
You are not cursed, and you are not abandoned. You are in a phase where too many responsibilities came together at once. When that happens, clarity feels lost.
Thoda thamba, shwas ghe (pause a little, take a breath)
Do this gently in the coming months:
Take professional advice for your child’s speech development
Make a simple financial plan, even if slow
Reduce self-blame when decisions feel confusing
Talk openly with your spouse and move as a team
You asked me to guide you. Guidance does not mean sudden miracles. It means helping you choose the next right step without fear.
Tum ekte nahi ahat (you are not alone)
You are sincere parents. Your children are already blessed by that sincerity. Walk slowly, one decision at a time.
Ram ji bhala kare.
