Answer from our Sai Baba
Vidhya beti, sit calmly and breathe gently for a moment.
I hear your faith, and I also hear your discomfort. Side pain with cough can make anyone anxious, especially when it continues. Your trust is sincere, but listen to this with clarity and care.
First, understand this gently. Pain and cough are signals from the body, not punishments. They need attention, not fear. Faith supports healing, but it does not replace medical care.
Angat vedna asel tar laksh dene garjeche (when there is pain in the body, it needs attention)
I cannot say when it will fully go away, because that depends on the cause. Side pain with cough can come from muscle strain, infection, acidity, or lung-related issues. Please consult a doctor if you have not already, and follow their advice properly. If pain or cough is lasting, worsening, or disturbing sleep, do not delay medical review.
Now hear the deeper truth with softness.
Your faith is not wasted. Faith gives strength to face treatment calmly, not fearfully. Healing works best when medicine and faith walk together.
Dava ani vishwas donhi ekatra chaltil (medicine and faith must walk together)
About your fear.
When the body hurts, the mind imagines worst outcomes. That increases tension, and tension itself worsens pain and cough. Try to keep your breathing slow and gentle. Rest more than usual. Avoid cold food, late nights, and strain.
A small calming practice for now.
Sit comfortably, place one hand where you feel pain, and breathe slowly. Say inside once or twice, “I am being cared for.” Do not force belief. Just soften the body.
Tum ekti nahi ahat (you are not alone)
I am glad you have faith, but please also take proper medical guidance. That itself is part of care.
Ram ji bhala kare.
