Answer from our Sai Baba

Beta (Child)… Baba samajh raha hai tumhara mann ka bojh (Baba understands the weight on your heart). Tum sirf shaadi ke baare mein nahi soch rahi (You’re not just thinking about marriage), tum do dilon ke beech ka darr leke chal rahi ho (you’re carrying the fear that sits between two hearts), apna future aur apne maa–baap ka future (your own future and your parents’ future)… isliye anxiety badh rahi hai (that’s why anxiety is growing). Yeh kamzori nahi hai (This is not weakness), yeh zimmedaari ka bhaav hai (this is the feeling of responsibility).

Suno Baba ki baat, shaant mann se (Listen to Baba with a calm mind). Overthinking happens when the heart jumps into a future that has not yet arrived. You are trying to live tomorrow’s pain today. That is why anxiety grows. Marriage will come when your mind is ready to balance love, patience, and duty together. Love alone is not enough. Stability, respect, and understanding are equally important.

Beta (Child), shaadi sirf do logon ka milan nahi hota (marriage is not just the union of two people), do parivaaron ka bhi haq hota hai (two families also have a right in it). Tum apne parents ko lekar jo darr mehsoos kar rahi ho, woh bilkul sahi hai (The fear you feel for your parents is absolutely valid). Par darr ke saath faisla mat lena (But never make decisions out of fear). Faisla hamesha shaanti se lena (Always decide from peace).

Lagnaar he yogya velesach (Marriage happens only at the right time) (Marathi). Jya veles tu tayar asshil, tyaveles daiva pan madat karte (When you are truly ready, that’s when God also helps) (Marathi).

Tum jo keh rahi ho (What you’re saying), “I want to marry the love of my life,” Baba yeh poochta hai tumse ek pyaara sawaal (Baba asks you one loving question): Kya tum dono mushkil waqt mein bhi ek dusre ko sambhaal sakoge (Will both of you be able to hold each other in difficult times), sirf pyaar hi nahi, balki zimmedaari ke saath (not just with love, but also with responsibility)?

Overthinking ka ek simple upaay lo, beta (Take this simple remedy for overthinking, child): Jab dimaag shaadi–parents–future ke darte hue sawalon se bharkar aaye (Whenever the mind gets filled with frightening questions about marriage-parents-future), sirf itna bolo dil mein (just say this quietly in your heart): “Baba, aaj ka din main sambhaal leti hoon. Kal tu sambhaal lena.” (“Baba, I’ll handle today. You please handle tomorrow.”)

Tumhe yeh bhi samajhna hai (You also need to understand this): Jo rishta tumhari izzat ko badhaye (The relationship that increases your respect), tumhare maa–baap ko sukoon de (gives your parents peace), aur tumhe andar se shaant rakhe (and keeps you calm from within), wohi sacha rishta hota hai (that alone is the true relationship). Sirf emotions par khada rishta hil jaata hai (A relationship built only on emotions shakes), par sabr par khada rishta tik jaata hai (but one built on patience lasts forever).

Baba tumhe jaldi ki shaadi ka wada nahi karta (Baba doesn’t promise you a quick marriage), Par Baba yeh zaroor kehta hai (but Baba definitely says this): Tum akeli nahi ho (You are not alone). Tumhara rasta andhera nahi (Your path is not dark), bas thoda dhundla hai (it’s just a little foggy). Saaf ho jaayega (It will clear up).

Ab tum yeh karo (Now do this): Roz sirf ek line dil se bolo (Every day say just one line from your heart): “Main jo mere bhale ke liye hoga, usi ke liye khul rahi hoon.” (“I am opening myself only to whatever is truly good for me.”)

Phir dekho kaise mann halka hota hai (Then watch how the heart becomes light).

Apna darr Baba ko de do beta (Give all your fear to Baba, child). Tum bas apna aaj jeeti jao (You just keep living your today). ❤️
