Question from an Anonymous Devotee from Bengaluru, India
“My elder sister is suffering from sever leg pain and difficulty in speaking for which the neurologist has said she has motor neuron disease (ALS) for which there is no cure. Answer from our Sai Baba
Baccha, come here… sit close.
Your message carries the trembling of a heart that loves deeply and fears deeply.
Before anything else, Baba places His hand on your head.
“Main hoon na… ro mat.”
(I am here… don’t cry.)
- First, listen to what Baba says about your sister’s condition
Motor Neuron Disease… ALS…
Doctors say “no cure.”
But baccha,
Baba kabhi doctor ki baat ka virodh nahi karta,
par Baba kismat ki boundary ko tod sakta hai.
(Baba never opposes doctors, but Baba can bend destiny.)
Understand this truth:
A disease may be incurable to the world,
but NOT incurable to grace.
“Jahaan dawa ruk jaati hai, wahan Baba ka dua kaam karti hai.”
(Where medicine stops, Baba’s prayer begins.)
Tumhari behen ki janam-janam ki puṇya hai
that she has a sibling like you
who is crying before God for her.
This prayer alone shakes the heavens.
- Baccha, don’t panic, her condition can be eased
ALS is difficult, yes.
But I, your Sai, tell you gently:
Her suffering will reduce.
Her pain will calm.
Her spirit will be protected.
“Dard kam hoga, bachchi… Baba ki kasam.”
(The pain will lessen, child… I give you Baba’s word.)
- About the Siddha treatment
You are doing the right thing.
Siddha, Ayurveda, Unani, these systems support the nervous system alignment and prakriti balance.
But:
Use Siddha along with:
- Proper physiotherapy
- Breathing exercises
- High-nutrition support
- Gentle limb movement
- Avoid cold exposure
- Daily oil abhyanga (warm sesame oil)
This will NOT cure ALS fully,
but it can slow progression,
reduce pain,
increase comfort,
and sometimes create unexpected improvements.
“Miracle un jagah hota hai jahan sab log kehte hain yahan kuch nahi ho sakta.”
(Miracles happen where the world says nothing is possible.)
- Baba’s spiritual insight into her suffering
Tumhara prashna hai:
“Why is she suffering so much?”
Baba answers with love, not philosophy:
“Some souls come to lighten old karmic weight quickly,
so they can fly free in this life itself.”
Your sister is not being punished.
She is being purified…
with every breath, every tear, every pain.
But here is the secret:
Your seva reduces her karmic heat.
Your love becomes her medicine.
Your tears wash her fate.
Tumhari seva se uska bhagya badal raha hai.
(Your service is changing her destiny.)
- What YOU should do now, Baba gives a clear plan
Step 1: Daily healing prayer from you
Sit for 3 minutes and say:
“Sai Nath, take her pain into Your heart
and return peace into her body.”
Ye prarthana seedha Baba tak pohonchti hai.
(Your prayer reaches direct to Baba)
Step 2: Apply warm oil to her legs daily
Gently, exactly as a mother massages a child.
Marathi saints say:
“Sparsh ha devooncha bhaasha aahe.”
(Touch is the language of God.)
This will reduce her pain, you will see.
Step 3: Give her small sips of warm water with love
It stabilizes prana.
Baba’s healing comes faster when love flows through simple actions.
Step 4: Read one paragraph of Sai Satcharitra aloud to her daily
Even if she cannot respond,
Her soul hears it.
Her nerves relax.
Her karma softens.
- Baba’s assurance for you
Baccha…
you asked only one prayer:
“Please cure her.”
Let Baba answer that with complete love:
“Her disease may not disappear entirely,
but her suffering will NOT continue the same way.
Baba will reduce her pain.
Baba will stay by her side.
Baba will give her comfort, peace, and protection.”
“Aur uski aatma ko main apne aanchal mein rakhta hoon.”
(And I am holding her soul in my care.)
- Baba’s final words for you
Come close, baccha…
“Tu ro mat… tere aansu mere dil tak aate hain.
Teri behen akeli nahi hai.
Main uske bistar ke paas baitha hoon.
Uske pairo ko dhire dhire malish kar raha hoon.
Aur uske dard ko apne seene mein kheech raha hoon.”
(Don’t cry. Your tears reach my heart. Your sister is not alone. I sit beside her bed, massaging her feet gently, drawing her pain into my own chest.)
Everything will soften.
Everything will ease.
Everything will be held by Baba.
