“Baba, You know how we have been struggling with issues since the last 2-3 years. The problems are financial, career and also relationships with close friends. While I know it is due to past Karma and You have also been protecting us, being human, my heart feels scared & tired waiting for the bad times to pass. I am also scared if I am doing something wrong that’s causing these bad times to prolong…..Please forgive me if I have done any mistakes, forgive me if I am thinking wrong despite knowing You are with me & my family and please protect me from bad thoughts and going in bad ways. Please tell me if my problems are going to end soon.”

Answer from our Sai Baba
Beta… Baba sun raha hai (Baba is listening) tumhari thakaan (your exhaustion), tumhara darr (your fear), tumhari intezaar ki thakawat (the tiredness of waiting). Aaj Baba tumse dil se aur seedhe shabdon mein baat karega. (Today Baba will speak to you from the heart, in simple and direct words.)
Hard times lasting for years do not mean you are being punished. Many good people walk through long winters before spring arrives. Your fear does not make you weak, it only shows that you care deeply about your life and your family. And Baba says clearly, you are not being abandoned.
Beta, jab museebat lambi ho jaati hai, toh dil ghabra jaata hai, yeh fitrat hai insaan ki.
Magar is ghabrahat ka matlab yeh nahi ki tu galat raaste pe hai. (Beta, when hard times last too long, it is natural to feel scared, that is how we are built. But do not mistake this anxiety for being on the wrong track.) Kabhi kabhi sabr bhi imtihaan deta hai. (Sometimes, even patience gets tested.)
Aayushyatla kathin kaal ha shikshan aahe, shraap nahi. To kasa samor jato, te mahatvacha. (Hard times in life are a lesson, not a curse. What matters is how you face them.)
Now Baba answers your deepest doubts one by one:
“Am I causing this to last because of my mistakes?”
Listen carefully, beta. Not every problem is created by your mistakes. Some problems come to strengthen decision-making, detach fear from the heart, and teach endurance.
“Am I wrong for feeling scared?”
No. Feeling scared is human. Staying honest despite fear is spiritual strength.
“Have my bad thoughts delayed my relief?”
Thoughts alone do not control destiny. Actions, patience, clarity, and effort matter far more.
“Will my problems end soon?”
Baba will not give you false timelines. But Baba tells you this with certainty:
No suffering is permanent. No dark tunnel is endless.
What changes first is not the situation outside, but the strength inside. And that strength has already started growing in you.
Now Baba says something very important for your healing:
Stop saying “bad times are punishing me.”
Start saying “bad times are shaping me.”
Protect yourself from two things:
– hopelessness
– self-blame
These two drain your energy more than any problem.
Baba ki chhoti si baat sun lo: (Listen to a small piece of advice from Baba)
Tu galat raah par hota, toh tera dil itna saaf maafi maangne ke liye tadapta hi nahi. (If you were on the wrong path, your heart wouldn’t be aching to ask for forgiveness with such sincerity.)
This itself proves your sincerity.
Today, do just three things:
– Take one practical step for your career or finances, even a small one.
– Speak one honest prayer without fear.
– Let go of one useless worry before sleeping.
