Sai Baba’s Healing Grace for Devotee
Shirdi Sai Baba Devotee Dolatram from Pakistan says: My name is Dolatram. I am from Sindh, Pakistan, and I am a student.
Eight months ago, my life changed unexpectedly. I was playing cricket when I suddenly slipped and fell to the ground. I felt a sharp jerk in my back, but I didn’t realize how serious it was. That night, I felt some pain in my leg and thought it was just normal muscle fatigue, so I ignored it.
After a week, the pain started increasing gradually. It became so severe that I couldn’t sit or sleep properly. I felt deeply depressed and hopeless. I went to a neurologist, who advised me to get an MRI scan. When I received the report, I was shocked and heartbroken. It showed slipped discs in my lumbar region. The doctor told me to take medicines for fifteen days, assuring me that it would get better.
At that time, I was living in a hostel, far away from my family. But instead of getting better, my pain became unbearable. I could neither sit, stand, nor sleep. I returned to my village, and my entire family was very worried and saddened to see me in such pain. I felt like everything in my life was over my studies, my dreams, and my hope. I even thought about ending my life.
I didn’t know much about Sai Baba then. I only knew His name because we had a picture of Baba in our home, brought from India by my uncle. One night, as I was lying in bed in unbearable pain, I felt as if someone was calling me. When I opened my eyes, I saw Sai Baba’s image shining clearly on the wall. I slowly got up, walked toward the image, and sat before Baba. I don’t remember what I was doing, but after half an hour, I came back to my senses and from that moment, everything changed.
That night, Sai Baba chose me. I began learning more about Baba, reading about His miracles, and joined a Mahaparayan group. I started doing Parayan (reading the Sai Satcharitra) every day. My faith in Baba became unshakable, even while my pain was unbearable.
Later, my uncle took me to a famous hospital in Karachi, where highly experienced doctors examined me. They prescribed strict rest and medicines and said that if the pain worsened, I might need back surgery. I was very scared, but instead of losing hope, my faith in Baba grew stronger and stronger.
I stopped taking the medicines and began relying completely on Sai Baba’s Udi (holy ash) and His blessings. Slowly, over the next few months, Baba began to heal me. My pain reduced, and I started doing all my daily activities again. Even though I still feel a little pain sometimes, I know that my Baba is always with me, protecting me and giving me strength.
Today, I am living my life with confidence and peace. My everything is Baba my hope, my strength, and my healer. I am endlessly thankful to Him. 🙏
