Anonymous Shirdi Sai Baba Devotee from Canada says: Thank you for maintaining this website. This experience is by far the most defining in my life.
It all began with my husband’s new job, which he received purely through Baba’s grace in January 2022. For the first time in many years, we were truly happy with his work, as the office environment was both professional and cordial. Everything was going smoothly until, suddenly, in October 2023, a mass layoff occurred. Although his role was a contract position, his manager had assured him that he would soon be made permanent. However, no one anticipated the mass layoff. This was the first time my husband experienced such a setback in his career. Both of us were shocked, wondering why everything had suddenly changed, especially when his performance had been excellent and the job felt like a blessing from Baba.
Adding to our anxiety, this happened near the end of the year, with Christmas approaching and hiring generally slowing down during the holidays. My husband worked tirelessly, applying to many companies, and thankfully, he progressed through three intensive rounds of interviews with one firm. By January 2024, he received an offer letter. During this challenging time, we also visited the Pittsburgh Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple to seek blessings, hoping for divine support.

My husband joined the company, and initially, the director was highly impressed with his work. For the first two months, everything went smoothly, but then the director’s attitude changed unexpectedly. We suspected that a jealous colleague had influenced her perception of my husband, as this colleague had started showing signs of envy, and the director seemed to fall for it. She began a vindictive campaign, taking every opportunity to criticise my husband over trivial, inconsequential matters, many of which were irrelevant. For instance, my husband is naturally cheerful and always wears a smile, but somehow, she and this colleague found it offensive.
Despite this, my husband maintained his composure, realising they were trying to push him to leave. He doesn’t give up easily, so he continued going to work each week, even though we spent every day on edge, wondering what new tactic his boss might employ. I prayed constantly to Baba for a miracle, feeling frustrated at why sincere, hard working people have to face such negativity. I hoped someone in the company would recognize their intentions and that a miracle would turn things around. Unfortunately, nothing like that happened, and one day, the director asked my husband to leave without cause.
It was devastating; I felt angry and helpless. For five long months, my husband endured this toxic environment, persisting only because he genuinely believes that jobs shouldn’t be left without good reason. In the end, however, he was forced out by their unfair actions.
I cried in front of Baba, overwhelmed by multiple challenges, and this recent episode was especially unexpected. The only relief was that my husband no longer had to endure the daily grind of harassment, and he soon started applying for jobs again. It was a particularly stagnant period, filled with visits to Baba and other temples for peace, trying to keep ourselves calm.
After a month, one of my husband’s former colleagues from his previous company unexpectedly reached out, informing him of an opening at that same company and recommending him for the position. We were overjoyed, my husband had never received a referral before, and it was for the very company where he had felt happiest, even though it had previously faced a mass layoff. Within a few weeks, after some interviews (which were not as intense), my husband was offered the role, this time as a permanent position. Baba’s blessings were evident at every step: the signing and the joining date both took place on Thursdays.
We couldn’t believe it. Though my husband’s faith in Baba never wavered, Baba reaffirmed my faith and showed us He would always protect those who are sincere. Today, I am writing this after offering peda to Baba, as I had promised if my husband found a job soon. Baba, You have placed him back in a position where he was so happy before; please protect him and help him grow in this company. Shield him from any unwanted adversaries and continue to guide us all. You are our only refuge.
Koti Koti pranam Baba, OmSairam!
Grateful Devotee Thanks Sai Baba for Mother’s Successful Surgery
Anonymous Shirdi Sai Baba Devotee from India says: I am a small devotee of Sai Appa. Thank you team for this wonderful platform.
Thank You, Appa, for making my mother’s surgery a success. Today, my mother underwent surgery, and I prayed to Sai Appa that it should be successful because she is 80 years old, has a pacemaker, and suffers from high blood pressure. The doctor classified her as being in a high-risk category. With Appa’s grace, everything went well. As promised, I am posting my experience. Please, Appa, be with my mother and help her fully recover.
Thank You Deva🙏🏻. Om Sai Shree Sai Jai Jai Sai.🙏🏻
