Sai Baba’s Care While Driving Alone

Shirdi Sai Baba Devotee Nayana Poojari from the UK says: I’m Nayana living in London with my kids and husband. I have been a Sai Devotee for many decades.

I want to share an experience about how Baba ensured I reached my destination safely. I had a Christmas dinner organized by my office. My husband was abroad, and I have two kids, aged 13 and 10. My husband and I decided that I would attend the event and return by 10 p.m., soon after dinner. The event started at 6 p.m.

I was very tense that day because the venue was in a very deserted area, and here in London, it gets dark as early as 4 p.m. during winter. On top of that, I had to drive, which made it even more stressful. Every time I drive to far-off places, I take Baba with me in my thoughts and keep talking to Him throughout the journey.

I prayed to Baba, “Please be with my kids.” I gave them dinner and then left. On the way, the traffic was heavy, with several accidents and broken-down cars along the route. The weather was chilly, and it was drizzling lightly.

I followed Google Maps, which directed me to the destination, but it led me to a hotel instead. Thankfully, there was a man sitting outside in his car, almost as if he was waiting for me. I asked him about my address, and he told me to go further up. That felt like a miracle, who would be there in such a dark, deserted place at that time?

As I drove further, I saw a car ahead of me, which turned out to be my colleague. I had no idea there was a code to enter the gate, but Baba ensured that my colleague and I arrived at the same time. Since she knew the code, I could enter the premises easily. Had I been alone, I don’t know what would have happened.

Thank You, Baba, once again. I ate dinner and left soon to return home. While driving back, I felt more confident, and Baba made sure there was no rain. I reached home safely to find my kids waiting for me.

Thank You so much, my dear father, for always being there with me. You are my savior, my protector, and I cannot function without You, Baba. Although I never promised Baba that I would write about this, I wanted to share it so others could read and feel inspired. It may seem like a small incident, but it had a significant impact on my life.

Baba, please let me always serve You, and please be with me always. Om Sai.

Baba, I have another meeting now. Please help me sail through it; I truly need Your assistance. The meeting I mentioned a few days back went well, thankfully. Thank You, Baba, I know it was You who helped me. This role is very demanding, Baba.

Today, I have a customer presentation. Please help me present well and ensure that one of my team members doesn’t interrupt me constantly. The customers should be impressed by my presentation. I promise to post this experience either this evening or tomorrow after my meeting finishes.

Baba, my meeting with the customer went well. I presented the material without any issues. Baba, I know You are always with those who put in effort. However, this job is very stressful, and the role I am playing is easily at a C-level, though I am at level 5. Please promote me for the hard work I am putting in.

Baba, my kids fight a lot, and my younger daughter’s behavior is concerning. She is 10 now, and I pray You help her focus on her studies. Baba, please give me an opportunity to serve You. I wish for my soul to be at Your lotus feet, even in my last moments. Om Sai.
