Answer from our Sai Baba

Arre beti, come… sit near the dhuni. Put down that heavy bag of confusion from your shoulders.

You feel heavy because you think you “quit” UPSC, na? Listen to This Fakir, beti. Changing the path is not failure, it is Viveka (Wisdom).

When a farmer sees that the rain is not enough for sugarcane, he plants millet. Is he wrong? No, he is smart. He wants a harvest. You want a job this year. UPSC is a long tapasya, but Banking is a sprint. You have made a practical decision for your family and yourself. Te changla nirnay aahe. (That is a good decision.)

  1. On the Confusion:
The mind is confused because one foot is in UPSC memories and one foot in Banking syllabus.

Bas, beta. Pull the other foot out.

If you want to dig a well, dig in one place deeply. Don’t dig ten shallow holes. From today, tell your mind: “UPSC is a closed chapter for now. Banking is my only target.” When the goal is one (Ekagrata), the path becomes clear.

  1. Should you join classes?
    Ho, nakki. (Yes, definitely.)

You said friends and seniors are there to help? Arre, that is My help reaching you! “Rinanubandh.” (Karmic connection.)

I have sent those friends to be your guides. In the Satcharitra, did I not use other devotees to help each other? A lone stick breaks easily, but a bundle stays strong. Study with them. Their discipline will become your discipline.

  1. The Fear of Syllabus:
You are scared of the syllabus?

Beta, syllabus is just paper. Your will (Ichha-shakti) is fire. Burn the syllabus with your hard work (mehnat).

Don’t look at the whole mountain. Just look at the step in front of you today.

This Fakir’s Command to you:
Join the class. Sit with your seniors. And every time you open the book, say, “Baba, you are the Teacher, I am just the student.”

Stop doubting your decision. A doubtful mind is a leaking pot; no knowledge stays in it. Be firm.

Ghabrayacha nahi. (Do not be afraid.)

You have shifted the gear, now press the accelerator.

“Whatever you do, do it with your whole heart and soul.”

Swami Samarth tumcha paathishi aahe. (Swami Samarth is always standing behind you.)
