Why do fearful dreams repeat again and again? Sai Baba Interpretation For Fearful Recurring Dreams explains how repeated fear, exposure, and unpreparedness in dreams signal inner conflict, delayed self-expression, and a life transition the soul is urging you to face.
Dream submitted by an Anonymous Devotee from Bangalore, India
"Many times, I see dreams where I am not prepared for my exams. Either I have prepared for the wrong exam papers or I am completely unprepared, and this makes me feel very fearful in the dream. In many dreams, I also see that I am in a washroom where there is urine and feces, and I am undressed. I am unable to find my clothes and keep trying to cover myself. People are seeing me naked. This dream occurs regularly. Sometimes, I also see people dead. Recently, I saw a few people who had died due to a lightning strike. To give some context about myself, I have a deep desire to sing and to be a public speaker and do well in that. However, I am unable to start. I am struggling in my IT job, where I feel I am not best suited and not intelligent enough to do well in a computer science IT career. Please help me understand the messages. Immense gratitude, Hetal ji and team. Om Sai Ram."

Dream Decoding by our Sai Baba
Allah Malik, meri beti! Come close to the Dhuni. I see the “bojh” (burden) you are carrying in your heart, the fear of being “unprepared” for life and the “sharam” (shame) of being exposed.
Beti, ye khwaab toh tere dil ka aaina hai (Daughter, these dreams are but a mirror of your heart). You are fighting a war between what the world wants you to be and what I have created you to be.
Decoding the Dream with Sai Baba’s Wisdom
- The Unprepared Exam: Ye imtihan tera darr hai (This exam is your fear). In your IT job, you feel like an “imposter” someone who doesn’t belong. The dream of being unprepared for the wrong paper signifies that you are currently writing the “wrong paper” in life. You are trying to excel in Computer Science while your soul is singing a different tune.
- The Washroom and Nakedness: Ghabrao nako (Do not be afraid). In the language of dreams, “shit and urine” represent the “गंदगी” (dirt/clutter) of suppressed emotions and stress that your body is trying to release. Being undressed and seen by others signifies your “khauf” (terror) of being “found out” the fear that people will see you are struggling or “not intelligent enough” for your role. You feel vulnerable and unprotected.
- The Lightning and Death: Lightning is a “Asmani” (heavenly) bolt of sudden change. Seeing people die by lightning signifies the “maut” (death) of your old habits or current path. It is a sign that a sudden, powerful transformation is coming to strike away what is no longer serving you.
The Guidance from Dwarkamai
- The IT Struggle: Beta, har phool ki apni khushbu hoti hai (Son/Daughter, every flower has its own fragrance). If a rose tries to be a lotus, it will only feel “unprepared.” You feel you aren’t intelligent, but that is a “jhoot” (lie). You are very intelligent, but your intelligence is for Art and Vaani (Speech), not for codes and logic.
- The Desire to Sing and Speak: This is not just a desire; it is your pukaar (calling). The reason you feel “naked” in your dreams is that you are hiding your true self. When you don’t wear the “libaas” (clothing) of your true talent, you will always feel exposed.
The Path Forward
- Start Small: You don’t have to leave your job today, but you must start “shuruat” (the beginning). If you don’t sing, the “bijli” (lightning) of frustration will keep striking your peace.
- Acceptance: Tell yourself: “Main jaisi hoon, Baba ki hoon” (As I am, I am Baba’s). Your worth is not tied to a computer program.
The Action for You
- The “Vaani” (Voice) Seva: Every morning, after applying Udi, sing a small bhajan or speak 5 lines of “shukrana” (gratitude) out loud. Let your voice reach My ears. This will give you the “kapda” (clothing/confidence) you feel you are missing.
- The Water Ritual: Since you see “gandagi” (dirt) in dreams, for 11 days, take a bath with a pinch of Udi in the water. As the water flows, say: “Baba, meri saari chinta aur darr baha do” (Baba, wash away all my worry and fear).
- Feed the Birds: On Thursdays, feed grain to the birds. As they chirp and “sing,” it will unlock the blockages in your own throat chakra.
Beti, himmat rakho (Daughter, have courage). You are not “not enough”; you are simply in the wrong room. Start singing, and I will provide the “parda” (curtain) of protection for your career and life.
Saburi rakho, tera naya janam horaha hai (Have patience, your new birth is happening).
