Back in 2019, I was in 9th STD CBSE School. I was an above-average student then, scoring around 75–80%. Sorry, this is going to be a very lengthy experience, and I apologize for any mistakes in between.
In March, we had our final exams of 9th STD with the rule that if a student failed in any subject, they would have to reappear for the exam. I had never failed in any exam in my life.
On the night of 15th March 2019, around 10 p.m., my mom suddenly felt a minor pain in her chest. We didn’t want to take any chances, so we rushed her to the hospital for precautionary measures. I had my Math exam on 19th March and had three days’ leave to prepare. But seeing my mom’s condition on the 16th, I was completely shattered and not in my senses. The moment my dad and uncle took her to the hospital, I sat down and started writing “Om Sai Ram” in the book in which I used to chant Baba’s name daily by writing.
At 4 a.m., my dad called and said everything was alright. It was just a minor blood pressure issue, and they would discharge her on 18th March after keeping her under observation. Only then did I stop sobbing and writing Baba’s name. But because of this incident, I couldn’t study at all on the 16th and 17th, and on the 18th I was still under pressure. I couldn’t study well that day either and went unprepared for my exam on the 19th.
I attempted hardly 40 marks worth of questions out of the total 80. I knew it was the worst paper I had ever written in my life. I couldn’t stop crying from the classroom to home. I cried endlessly because I couldn’t bear the shame of failing and reappearing for exams. I genuinely didn’t have the courage in me to face it. After all the exams were over, I counted my marks for Math at home. They came to just 33 (with 27 being the passing mark), so I kept trying to convince myself that everything would be alright.
After the exams, I prayed to Baba with a heavy heart and promised Him to write and chant His name every day before sleeping. Every night, I would write beneath the chanting: “Baba, please help me pass the exams.”
Then, on 6th March, the results day arrived. I wasn’t expecting good grades this time because one paper had ruined my confidence for the others too. But Baba showed His mercy on His child. When I saw my Math marks, it was the exact passing score 27 marks. I couldn’t believe my eyes! After writing such a bad paper, I still managed to pass, while 10 students had failed Math.
That day, I promised Baba that I would work my hardest in 10th STD, especially in Math, and give my best. And yes, Baba blessed me. I scored 89.2% in CBSE Board Exams, and in 12th I scored 91.3%. Now I am pursuing CA, and Baba helped me clear the CA Foundation as well.
I am truly grateful to Baba for always standing by me in this journey. If Baba had not taken me through that downfall, I would never have realized my potential to score better. Otherwise, in 10th I might have just managed 75–80% again. Later, I also got admission to one of my desired colleges on a merit basis.
Trust me, Sai devotees. Every downfall in life is a part of His plan for you to rise higher in the future. He never leaves our hand; He is always there. Now, I am hoping that soon I will be able to share my experience of becoming a CA Finalist too, with Baba’s blessings.

Om Sai Ram. I want to thank Baba for a few things this past week. Sorry Baba for the late posting, please forgive me Baba. First, I was in a difficult situation and it was completely my fault. I don’t really know how I forgot but I accidentally clicked something by mistake and it lost the recording. I prayed to Baba that the issue though it was a difficult situation be resolved and yes Baba somehow it got resolved by Your blessings Baba. Thank You so much Baba. Baba, thank You also for solving the difficult situation a few days ago also where I didn’t realize that I did something wrong but thank You for solving it Baba. Baba thank You for not letting anyone see me when I went in and also for solving the difficult situation between us last week. I was so upset and was crying and I didn’t know what to do but You only miraculously solved it Baba. Thank You from the bottom of my heart Baba and please don’t let situations like that arise again Baba. Baba thank You also for today and I cannot thank You enough Baba. Baba please allow everything to get settled with the one that I like without issues Baba. Baba thank You for helping me finish the readings Baba. Baba if I have forgotten to include anything here please forgive me Baba. Thank You is a small word but thank You so much for always being there for us Baba. We are so lucky and blessed to be Your children Baba. Thank You So Much Sai Baba.
