Sai Baba Grace in Critical Illness Recovery
Shirdi Sai Baba Devotee Girish MK from India says: In 2018, my 5-year-old daughter was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, and our entire family was devastated by this news. We underwent surgery, and after the biopsy, by God’s grace, we found out that the cancer had only spread locally.
As per the advice of our family members, we initially started with an Ayurvedic approach. However, we soon realized that the tumor was not reducing.
Our family god is Sri Muthappan Parassini Kadavu, and we have a ritual in the temple called “Vellatam.” During that time, we reached out to the Muthappan deity during the procession, and He told us to change the treatment.
Following the advice of our family god, we moved to Chennai Apollo Hospital and booked an appointment for treatment. During this process, I learned from one of my friends, who was working at Apollo Hospital, that I should visit the Mylapore Sai Baba Temple every Thursday. Following her advice, I started reading the Sai Satcharitra book on Thursdays and prayed to both our family god, Muthappan, and Sai Baba. I promised that if my daughter recovered completely from the treatment, we would visit our family god’s temple in Parassini Kadavu, Kannur (Kerala), and also the Shirdi Sai Baba temple with our family.
With the grace of my family god, Muthappan, and Guru Sai Baba, my daughter recovered, and we fulfilled our promise by visiting the temples.
Every time, we experience the presence of our gods, no matter where we are during the treatment.

How the Sai Satcharitra Came into My Life

A few years ago, I used to go to the library for my studies and visited frequently, many times a week. I used to borrow a lot of books from there, and one fine day, the library assistant gave me the Sai Satcharitra book to read and asked me to keep it. She gave me another book as well but told me to return it, while I could keep the Sai Satcharitra with me.
At that time, I was a devotee of Sai, but I didn’t know about the Sai Satcharitra. I started reading the book and found that it was recommended to read it within 7 days. I began reading the Satcharitra, and it benefited me greatly, bringing inner peace and providing answers to many questions. I don’t know how the library assistant gave me the Satcharitra, but I feel so blessed to have received it. I still read the Satcharitra every day.
