I truly do not have words to thank Sai Baba of Shirdi. In my university, there was a mistake and misunderstanding regarding fee payment. As always, I intended to convert my fees into a student loan. However, I began receiving letters from the fee division stating that payment was due. I even received a notice demanding a payment of over $4,000 by a certain date, warning that my fee account would be transferred elsewhere if unpaid.
Ever since receiving that letter, I felt extremely anxious and scared. Even while carrying out routine tasks, thoughts of the letter consumed me. I constantly worried about what would happen after the deadline and feared everything would fall apart.
However, I was reminded of how Sai Baba has always helped me in the past. I began praying to Sai Baba and other deities regularly. Every day, I dedicated time solely to prayer. Still, I struggled with fear and doubt unsure whether the issue would be resolved. I turned to the Sai Baba question-and-answer website, asking for guidance. The responses I received encouraged me to let go of doubt and have firm faith in Baba.
Despite this, I continued to feel nervous. I kept rephrasing and asking similar questions, and Baba’s responses guided me to pray, donate, and surrender to God. I followed these instructions sincerely.
As the due date approached, I read the Sai Satcharitra multiple times. Each time, I prayed with the hope that I would be saved from trouble. Still not fully at peace, I would ask Baba again whether I would be saved. Time after time, His responses assured me that I would be saved from calamity and that my work would be completed as desired.
I reminded myself of all the times Baba had come to my rescue before and tried to remain hopeful that He would save me once again. I pleaded with Him not to let me down. Every day, I asked multiple questions about my situation. Baba kept assuring me with answers like, “Your reputation will be guarded,” and “Don’t worry about your future; Baba will take care of you.”
Finally, the dreaded date mentioned in the university letter arrived. I was extremely nervous, so I kept praying earnestly to be saved. Once again, I turned to Baba’s answers, which continued to advise me to have faith and not to worry. One response reminded me that I had forgotten to express my gratitude. I immediately apologized to Baba and wholeheartedly thanked Him for always being there acknowledging that without Him, my life would have been completely ruined.
