Sai Baba’s Miracle In Recovering Lost Bag In Canada

Anonymous Shirdi Sai Baba Devotee from Canada says: I am an international student pursuing my postgraduate degree in Canada.
Hanumanji and Sai Baba make even the most impossible task, easily possible. I have encountered this in my life very recently. And I swear to God, I am being honest with you all as I share my story (which is a long story but I hope it gives you strength).
I am an international student pursuing my postgraduate degree in Canada. After a two-week vacation at home, I was returning to Canada for my studies. I was traveling with three pieces of luggage and a backpack. That backpack contained my entire life, it held my study visa, passport, laptop, medicines, wallet with all my identity cards, bank cards, money, and even my house keys. Without it, I had no identity in this foreign land.
Upon arriving at the airport, perhaps due to jet lag, homesickness, and my reluctance to spend money, I made a poor judgment call. Instead of booking a cab, I decided to take a bus home, overestimating my ability to manage the hectic journey since I had done it before. That turned out to be my biggest mistake.
At the end of the bus journey, I collected my luggage and booked a short 10-minute cab ride to my place. As I was loading my luggage into the cab’s trunk, a horrifying realization struck me that my backpack was missing. It felt as if the ground had slipped away from beneath my feet. A wave of panic gripped my chest and throat as I realized I had left my backpack on the bus. I didn’t even know the bus number except only the route and the approximate drop-off time.
In sheer distress, I rushed to report the case to the lost and found team at the station, but I could barely think straight. Tears streamed down my face as I wept openly in front of hundreds of passengers. The only words that escaped my lips were “Hanumanji” and “Sai Baba.” I was too overwhelmed even to form a proper prayer.
Exhausted, hungry, and homesick, I called my friend, and we immediately rushed to the region’s main central station, hoping the bus driver might have parked there and registered my backpack as a lost item. I pleaded with the staff to connect me with the driver, supervisor, or anyone who managed that particular bus. I provided as many details as I could, cried, and spoke to several officers and random bus drivers. Desperately, I even checked parked buses, peering through windows, searching for my bag. I spent the entire day and night searching, but there was no sign of it.
That night, with the help of my building manager, I managed to get access to my apartment. The moment I stepped inside, I picked up my Sai Baba murti and broke down in tears. In my other hand was my Hanumanji locket, which I always carry with me. To my shock, the glass covering the locket had broken that very morning and that too for the first time ever.
I cried myself to sleep, only to wake up the next morning feeling numb, with swollen eyes. I wasn’t being dramatic but every second felt like an endless nightmare, pure torture. It was as if my child had been taken away from me, as if my soul and life had been snatched away. I didn’t even know what to pray for or how to pray. Every time I tried, my tears would overflow. But God doesn’t need explanations. He listens to the unspoken thoughts, hidden feelings, and unseen tears of His devotees.
Somehow, I gathered the strength to return to the station at the same time I had been dropped off the previous day, hoping to find the same bus driver. Instead, I found another driver on his break, his bus parked at the platform. Desperately, I requested him to listen to my story just once, and he kindly agreed. He shared his number and told me he would check the lost and found section at the bus garage (which was inaccessible to the public) at the end of his shift at 6 PM.
To be honest, I had no hope. I felt lifeless and numb. The entire day passed in unbearable anticipation. At 5:40 PM, I reminded him, and he responded that he would reach the garage in 15 minutes. As I waited, I absentmindedly placed a saucepan on the stove to cook noodles. Something within me whispered that I should use those 15 minutes to read the Hanuman Chalisa. So, I knelt on the ground, clutching Hanumanji’s locket tightly in my hands, and began singing Hanuman Chalisa loudly. In my mind, I imagined Hanumanji blessing the bus drivers, guiding them to find my bag. I prayed to Bajrangbali, the guru and protector, the one who makes even the most impossible tasks possible. I pleaded with Sai Baba to grant me relief.
And then, the miracle happened.
The very moment I finished reciting Hanuman Chalisa, I received a call from the driver, asking me to confirm whether the lost item matched my description. Moments later, an image arrived on WhatsApp. It was my bag! It was my bag! I couldn’t believe my eyes! I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. I simply sat on the ground, overwhelmed with gratitude, praising Hanumanji and Sai Baba! I couldn’t even find the right words to thank them. Suddenly, I could breathe again. I could inhale, exhale, talk, walk. I could feel my heartbeat again.
With the help of my friends, I reached the garage gates and collected my bag. Everything inside was exactly as I had left it, nothing was missing! Inside my bag, I had kept a Sai Baba poster and a photo. Deep in my heart, I had believed that Sai Baba had to come back to me. That He would guide my bag, keep it safe, and return it to me.
And that is exactly what happened. It found its way back to me.
Sai Baba’s Blessings for Safe Travels and New Opportunities in USA
Anonymous Shirdi Sai Baba Devotee from the USA says: I am Sai’s daughter. My pranams to all Sai devotees and many thanks to the admins of this site.
My elderly mother was scheduled to fly alone this weekend from my home across the USA, a flight lasting nearly 5 hours. These flights are usually very stressful for her.
Two weeks ago, there was a prediction of snow for that weekend, and we were uncertain whether she would be able to fly as planned. By Baba’s grace, the snow melted the day before her flight was set to take off.
Next, we had to drive for 3 hours to get her to a major airport so she could take a direct flight without a layover. There were heavy rains throughout the day, but by Baba’s grace, we left very early before daybreak, drove in the dark, and reached the airport well in time. My mom received her wheelchair assistance, was taken to the gate, then transported by bus from the gate to the flight.
The flight was delayed on the tarmac for over an hour, and I became very worried about the delay. I prayed to Baba that if the flight took off soon, I would post His blessings on this site. By Baba’s grace, the flight departed after an hour of delay, and she reached her destination safely.
My heartfelt thanks to Baba for being with her throughout the journey and ensuring she arrived safely. Thank You, Baba, also for bringing us back home safely despite the heavy and relentless rains.
On a different note, thank You, Baba, for the opportunity to interview at a major company. I am waiting for You to shower Your blessings upon me to secure the best opportunity. Your plans for me have always been more delightful than I could have imagined. So now, I wait with faith that You will show me the path forward. Please grant me the strength and patience to trust in Your plans and Your divine timing.
Om Sai Ram!
