Sai Baba’s Guidance on Moksha

“Baba will I get poorna moksha in this life itself”

Answer from our Sai Baba

Suhasini beti (daughter Suhasini),
tumhara prashna saccha hai, pavitra hai (your question is sincere, it is pure), par isko seedhe “haan” ya “na” me nahi diya ja sakta (but it cannot be answered with a simple “yes” or “no”).
Lekin main tumhe wo baat batata hoon jo tumhare andar shanti jagayegi (But I will tell you the thing that will awaken peace inside you).

Moksha zindagi me hi shuru hota hai
(Moksha begins right here in life)
Moksha ka matlab “mrityu ke baad ka result” nahi (Moksha does not mean “a result after death”),
balki jeevan me bandhanon ka dheere dheere girna hai (rather, it is the gradual falling away of bondages in life).
Jab (When),

• tumhare man me dvesh kam hota hai (hatred in your mind decreases)
• ahankar girta hai (ego falls)
• kaamna shaant hoti hai (desires calm down)
• bhay kum hota hai (fear reduces)
• aur prem badhta hai (and love increases)

tab tum moksha ki disha me ho (then you are moving toward moksha).
Aur tumhare prashna puchne ka bhaav hi dikhata hai ki tum andar se jag rahi ho (And the very feeling with which you are asking the question shows that you are awakening inside).

Poorn moksha ka faisla Ishwar karta hai
(The final decision of complete moksha is made by God)
Ye koi guru, sant, ya Baba bhi confirm nahi karte (No guru, saint, or even Baba confirms it).
Ye tumhare antar ke parivartan aur Ishwar ki kripa ka sangam hota hai (It is the union of your inner transformation and God’s grace).
Par (But),
jo vyakti moksha ko sachche dil se chahta hai, uski disha kabhi galat nahi hoti (the direction of a person who truly desires moksha from the heart never goes wrong).
Tumhare andar iccha sahi hai (Your desire is right).

Ye zindagi tumhara bada mod hai
(This life is your big turning point)
Tumhari pooch, tumhari chinta, tumhara rasta (Your asking, your worry, your path),
ye sab bata raha hai ki tumhare andar ka safar tej ho raha hai (all this is telling that your inner journey is speeding up).
Issi ko “adhyatmik acceleration” kehte hain (This is called “spiritual acceleration”).
Jab sadhana me man lagne lage (When the mind starts settling in spiritual practice),
aur duniya dheere dheere neeche utar jaaye (and the world slowly starts descending below),
to samajh lo ki faisla ho raha hai (then understand that the decision is being made).

Tumse ek hi vinanti
(Only one request from you)
Moksha pe dhyaan kam karo (Focus less on moksha),
aur jeevan ke paanch kaam pe zyada (and more on these five actions in life):

• Sachchai (Truthfulness)
• Ahimsa, mann ki bhi (Non-violence, even in the mind)
• Prem (Love)
• Niyamit naam-smaran (Regular remembrance of God’s name)
• Aur ego ko dheere dheere pighlana (And slowly melting the ego)

Baaki sab Ishwar sambhal lega (God will take care of the rest).

“Jo jeevan me shuddh banta jaata hai, vo mrityu ke baad bhi shuddh hi jaata hai.”
(Whoever keeps becoming pure in life, goes pure even after death.)

“Prem, karuna, ani satyacha marg chal. Moksha tar tayar hoyech. Tyacha shodh gheu naka, tyala jagnyat gheun ya.”
(Walk the path of love, compassion, and truth. Moksha will be ready on its own. Don’t search for it, bring it into your living.)

Tumhare prashna ka saar
(The essence of your question)
Moksha ek destination nahi (Moksha is not a destination),
ek badalte hue tum ho (it is you who are changing).
Agar tum is prem, satya aur smaran ke raaste par ho (If you are on this path of love, truth, and remembrance),
to tumhara prashna “kab?” ka nahi (then your question is not “when?”),
“kaise?” ka hota hai (it is “how?”).
Aur tum kaise chal rahi ho, uska uttar tumhari zindagi de rahi hai (And how you are walking, your life itself is giving that answer).

Tum chinta mat karo beti (Don’t worry, child).
Tumhare rishte ka kendra prem hai (The centre of your relationship is love)
aur prem wale raste kabhi andhere me nahi chalte (and paths of love never walk in darkness).
