Question from an Anonymous Devotee from Kolkata, India
"Sai Baba, You know everything. From my childhood, I have had the problem of being impatient. You have always taught Shraddha and Saburi. I am trying to develop more patience. As You know, I am desperately looking for a job or good remote work, but I have been facing multiple rejections. This is demotivating me from learning new skills. Baba, please help me gain patience so that I can wait calmly for the right opportunity and continue learning skills that will support my career. OM SAI RAM. OM SAI RAKSHAK SHARANAM DEVA."

Answer from our Sai Baba
Beti, read this gently and without judging yourself.
Impatience is not a flaw of character. It is energy without direction. You have sincerity, effort, and hunger to grow. When results delay, that same energy turns into restlessness and self doubt.
Shraddha sabko aati hai, Saburi seekhni padti (faith comes naturally, patience must be learned)
Now listen carefully to what Saburi actually means.
Saburi does not mean waiting helplessly.
Saburi means working steadily without exhausting the heart.
About repeated rejections
Rejections hurt because they feel personal, but they are usually structural, timing, budget, location, visa, internal change. Do not let silence define your worth.
khamoshi ka matlab naakami nahi (silence does not mean failure)
Rejections drain motivation when the mind tries to sprint every day. You need a pace, not a push.
How to build patience practically
Patience grows when effort is measured and visible.
Do this for the next 4 weeks.
One. Fix a small daily effort window.
One to two focused hours only.
No marathon learning.
Consistency builds confidence.
roj thoda pan nishchit kaam kara (do a small but fixed work daily)
Two. Learn skills that compound.
Choose one skill that adds value to your background, not many.
For example, advanced editing tools, documentation workflows, content QA, or admin coordination software. Finish one course fully.
ek cheez pakad ke seekho (hold one thing and learn it)
Three. Separate learning from applying.
Some days only learn.
Some days only apply.
Do not mix both every day, it creates fatigue.
Four. Measure effort, not outcomes.
At night ask,
“Did I show up today?”
Not,
“Did I get a job today?”
prayatna mojla tar man shant hota (when effort is measured, the mind becomes calm)
About remote work and right opportunity
Right opportunities come when readiness meets timing. Delays here are also protection from wrong roles and wrong people.
der kabhi kabhi hifazat hoti (delay is sometimes protection)
One inner correction
When impatience rises, say softly inside,
“I am preparing the ground.”
This shifts the mind from desperation to dignity.
You are not late.
You are not behind.
You are building capacity quietly.
May patience grow without dulling your ambition, may learning feel lighter and more focused, may rejections stop wounding your confidence, and may the right work arrive with respect and steadiness.
Vittal rakho rakho.
