Sai Baba Blessings During Eye Problems

I promised Baba that I will share my experience on the same day but couldn’t find the time. Please accept my humble apologies, Baba. For the past one month, I have been having problems with my eyes. My family has a history of glaucoma, and my yearly specialist eye check-up is only due in October.
The weather here has been very hot lately, and I’ve been feeling a heaty and strained sensation in both eyes. I assumed it was dry eye syndrome and tried a few eye drops, but they didn’t help. I even tried cold compresses, a new pair of glasses, and applying oil to my head and feet to bring down the body heat, but nothing seemed to work.
Finally, I decided to go to a public clinic for a check-up. I went in the afternoon, and to my utter shock, my eye pressure was found to be extremely high. I was very scared because glaucoma can cause blindness. It was too late to seek a second opinion, and to make things worse, the next day was a public holiday, so all specialist clinics were closed.
I was practically living in fear and prayed to Baba fervently to save and protect my eyes. I promised Baba that I would share my experience and donate food on Guru Purnima day. Baba, true to His word, helped me. When I eventually visited my regular specialist clinic in the morning, the pressure reading was the same as in previous years. I also did some other tests, and those results were normal too. However, the specialist advised me to take another eye pressure test in the afternoon for comparison, in a few months’ time.
I am still experiencing the same sensations in my eyes and still don’t know the cause. I leave it to Baba to heal me at the right time. He has walked with me through all my ups and downs over the years. I honestly cannot imagine my life without Him. He is my only strength and the shoulder I cry on.
He has given me so much, and in return, I have nothing to offer Him. I feel bad because I cannot live up to His expectations. I come with many flaws, and I hope one day Baba’s grace will cleanse and purify me.
