Sai Baba’s Grace in Cyst and Fibroid Healing

I had been postponing this post since September 2022. I am someone who is very scared of health check-ups, especially ultrasounds and scans.

In 2020, I was diagnosed with hemorrhagic cysts and fibroids in my uterus during a routine health check-up. I was very scared, as people in my circle with little medical knowledge came up with various frightening ideas. I consulted a renowned gynaecologist in Chandigarh, who also mentioned a thick uterine lining, which was even more alarming. Following her advice, I had to get a biopsy done, and the 25 days waiting for the biopsy results felt like a test. I cried in front of Sai Baba, praying for a favourable report and kept waiting with crossed fingers. By Sai Baba’s grace, the report came back normal. My joy knew no bounds, and I continued to be grateful for Sai Baba’s grace. I was advised to get tested every year for monitoring purposes by my Chandigarh doctor.

Then, in August 2022, I approached a gynaecologist in my hometown, Ludhiana, thinking I could continue monitoring with her since she was nearby. However, in the very first meeting, based on my past reports, she scolded me and told me I should get my uterus removed as soon as possible. I was heartbroken and cried in her clinic, thinking of the worst. My husband insisted on getting a fresh ultrasound done. While sitting in the chamber with teary eyes, I pleaded with Sai Baba to look after His daughter and show a miracle again. And He indeed did. The radiologist, while scanning me, informed me that not only had the hemorrhagic cysts converted to water cysts and reduced in size, but the fibroid was still present, and the uterine lining was a bit thick, but there was no need for a hysterectomy. I could hardly believe my ears and was mesmerised by His leela. I thought, “My Sai, You are so merciful; Your grace has no end.”

We went back to the gynaecologist in Ludhiana with the new report. She seemed embarrassed after seeing the report but still insisted on the uterus removal for safety reasons, which made us suspect she had a financial interest in it.

My husband decided to seek a second opinion from our Chandigarh gynaecologist, whom we trusted greatly. We scheduled an appointment and travelled to Chandigarh, with me again experiencing palpitations. She did her tests and advised that there was no need for a hysterectomy at that stage and recommended continuing ultrasound monitoring every six months. I had vowed to Sai Baba that I would post on Hetal Ji’s blog if everything was normal. Although I had procrastinated posting and repeating the tests until now, even after 1.5 years, I continue to pray to Him for courage and not to jump to worst-case scenarios regarding health matters. I ask Sai Baba to take charge of mine and my family’s health as He has been doing.
