Sai Baba’s Protection During Travel Abroad

We were in London for a wedding, and by Baba’s grace, my mum and her sisters, all above 75 years old, were able to make the trip. After the wedding, we had planned for them to enjoy a holiday together, but on the wedding day, one of my aunts fell ill with a fever. I was worried about my mum as she was staying with her. However, since I had originally prayed for Baba’s permission for her trip, I trusted that she would remain well and thankfully, she did.

Two days after the wedding, we moved from my cousin’s home to a hotel near central London. On that Monday, one by one, all of us, except my mum, started falling ill with COVID-like symptoms, including fever and cough. Despite being around everyone at various times, my mum remained fine by Baba’s grace. I was deeply thankful that Baba had heard my prayers for her well-being.

I prayed to Baba, expressing my disappointment and faith, saying, “This is not why You brought us all to London, especially my mum and aunts, for whom traveling from India was not easy.” While we enjoyed the wedding functions, the purpose of the trip was to have a close family holiday together after the wedding. On Tuesday evening, I prayed with complete faith, asking Baba to cure everyone by Thursday. I explained that we were leaving for India on Sunday and needed at least three wonderful days of togetherness. This holiday was likely the last opportunity for my mum, her sisters, and us cousins to be together abroad.

Everyone who was ill experienced severe fever and chest congestion. However, by Baba’s grace, without needing a doctor, everyone was miraculously cured by Thursday. My cousin, whose daughter got married, booked us into a lovely hotel in Windsor, where we had a truly wonderful three days together before leaving for India on Sunday.

Once back in India, we experienced post-COVID symptoms like heavy chest congestion and fatigue for 15 days. However, Baba’s miraculous blessings ensured that we stayed well in the United Kingdom, allowing us to enjoy our time together as a family.

This is just one of the many miraculous blessings my family and I have experienced since Baba took us under His fold. I am deeply grateful for His care and pray for the worthiness of His blessings always.
