Deva, please write Your miracle during our Maha Kumbh Yatra to Prayagraj during 8- 9 February 2025.
I once went to Kumbh in Haridwar during April 2010 and kaos was so overwhelming that I never thought of going to another Kumbh. But the saying “Man proposes, God disposes” is the utmost truth.
One of our close neighbors informed my husband that they were planning a Maha Kumbh 2025 yatra, for which one of his colleagues would assist in making all the arrangements. They invited us to join them on this sacred pilgrimage. Coincidentally, one of my colleagues, who was posted in that area, also encouraged me to come.
On February 1, 2025, while casually chatting, we suddenly decided to finalize our plans for February 8th and 9th. Initially, we considered traveling by train, but after weighing the pros and cons, we finalized a taxi. I was not entirely positive about this journey, as we were constantly hearing news about increasing crowds, traffic jams, and other challenges. This Maha Kumbh is known as the world’s largest human gathering to date. Under Sai Baba’s guidance, I reached out to my colleagues for a guesthouse booking. Although the guesthouse was fully occupied during that period, we miraculously managed to secure two rooms for ourselves.
The Journey Begins
We had to start our journey very early on February 8, 2025, to reach Prayagraj by evening. Our group consisted of two couples and one colleague of my neighbor. On Friday night, we packed our bags, but I was unable to sleep due to many thoughts running through my mind. On the morning of February 8th, we got ready by 4 AM, applied Udi, and prepared for the 12-hour journey. Since I tend to experience nausea while traveling, I decided to take an anti-nausea medicine. Upon checking my medical kit, I found that the available medicines had expired, so I discarded them. After searching again, I took a tablet from a newly packed strip and kept it aside. However, five minutes later, I suddenly checked the strip again and was shocked to find that the medicine had expired two years ago. Completely shaken, I looked towards my savior, Sai Baba, and left everything in His hands.
Following my mother’s instructions, we took ginger before starting our journey, as it was a Saturday. We didn’t carry many snacks since there were no children with us and planned to buy food along the way. We left at 5 AM, and during our 350 km expressway journey, I gazed out of the window at the greenery and was blessed with a divine vision of a sky-high glimpse of Lord Vishnu holding a Shankh, Chakra, Gada, and a flower made of green leaves.
For a long stretch, there were no shops or restaurants, so we survived on the limited snacks we had. Eventually, we managed to have lunch at a good place around 2 PM. However, as the day progressed, the traffic congestion worsened. Initially, our estimated arrival time was 3 PM, but with each passing hour, the delay increased.
The Struggle with Traffic
Around 7 PM, when we were just 30 km away from the Prayagraj entry point, the traffic came to a standstill. Vehicles were crawling, and for nearly three hours, we barely covered 5 km. We felt exhausted and I continuously remembered Sai Baba.
In that difficult moment, the colleague of my neighbor proved to be a godsend. He stepped out and explored alternate routes, guiding our taxi to some less congested paths, which saved us time. At 10 PM, when we were still 20 km away, he suggested taking the empty wrong-side lane, and 2-3 nearby vehicles followed suit. Fortunately, we found a single exit cut right beside our taxi at that moment. Taking that chance, we covered about 2 km while witnessing the jam-packed condition on the left lane.
Soon, a police van appeared, forcing some vehicles to take a U-turn while others stopped at the side. Our taxi moved slowly and carefully. After covering another 2 km, we found a temporary narrow path that led us to the main road. Finally, we reached the guesthouse by 11:15 PM. Later, we learned that the highway where we were stuck remained blocked for another eight hours due to the heavy traffic in Prayagraj. Words cannot express Sai Baba’s miracle and guidance in that moment.
The Sacred Dip at Maha Kumbh
Considering the massive traffic and our exhausted state, we initially thought of starting late the next day. However, the guesthouse staff advised us to leave by 3:30 AM if we wanted to travel by taxi. After just two hours of rest, we set out at 3:30 AM, taking village roads and multiple diversions. By 5 AM, we reached the Maha Kumbh entry gate.
Despite some confusion, we successfully took the holy dip in Sangam on February 9, 2025. My husband pointed out that the date, the 9th, is Baba’s number which was another divine sign. On our way back to the guest house, we once again got stuck in a three-hour traffic jam. However, at that moment, a small picture of Baba on an auto passing by gave me immense solace and reassurance.
After reaching the guest house, we had lunch, met our friends posted in the area, and indulged in some spontaneous shopping. At 2 PM, we started our return journey. Fortunately, this time, there was no traffic congestion, but we were all extremely tired and sleepy. The driver, too, had not rested properly, which made me anxious.
A Safe Return Under Baba’s Protection
As we traveled back, we noticed that many vehicles were speeding due to the open roads. Shockingly, throughout the journey, we saw at least ten cars that had met with serious accidents. Even in my sleep, I was continuously praying to Sai Baba to protect us from any harm.
Then, as if in response to my prayers, I saw a large image of Sai Baba on the back glass of a taxi moving alongside us for some distance. It was a divine assurance of His omnipresent protection. “Why fear when Sai Baba is always with us?” With Baba’s blessings, we reached home safely at 3 AM on February 10, 2025.
Baba took care of our health, especially mine, during this long and challenging taxi journey. He kept my mood balanced and ensured our safe return. The next day, we joyfully celebrated my nephew’s birthday. However, after returning, we heard devastating news about a 300 km-long traffic jam and severe food shortages near the Maha Kumbh area.
Sai Baba, words cannot express my gratitude for making this seemingly impossible Maha Kumbh pilgrimage possible for us. Thank You for Your infinite grace and protection!
Sai Deva Carries Me Through Every Difficulty
I always feel that because of my Sai Deva’s presence in my life, the toughest situation also passes smoothly. He never let me feel the toughness and roughness. Later on, whenever I recall that situation, I always feel mesmerized by His mercy and the way He took me out of that.
My Prayer for My Son’s Education and Future
Deva made me cry today due to my son’s bad result in the 1st round of the engineering entrance exam. Deva, I am begging You to motivate Your grandson (my son) to study sincerely and get the best result in both 12th board and engineering entrance exams. My only hope in this regard is You, Baba. Baba under Your guidance, from today (13.2.2025- Thursday) I vow to not eat my favorite food Rice and chant Sai Kashtanivaran Mantra 5 times daily till You bless Vaibhav- Your grandson (my son) with the best results in both 12th board and engineering entrance exams. “Baba Tere Bharose Mera Parivaar Hai”.

Further, Sai Baba Says: “Everything cannot be achieved through bookish knowledge, hence obtain the heavenly blessings of the preceptor (Guru)”

Baba, please resolve my period related problems, which I am suffering from since October 2024 as it reached my tolerance limit. Sai Baba, You are the best doctor of this universe, please help me.

Sai Baba’s Divine Grace in Shirdi

I visited Shirdi on July 24, 2024, and had the divine darshan of Sai Baba at the Samadhi Mandir on July 25, which happened to be a Thursday. By Baba’s grace, I reached in front of Him just as the Palki procession was passing. Miraculously, I was able to stand there for 15 minutes, even without any special booking. As I attempted to leave, a security guard unexpectedly told me, “Why are you leaving? Stand here.” This moment felt truly divine. As I stepped out of the Samadhi Mandir, tears flowed from my eyes, overwhelmed by Baba’s miracle.
