My 11-year-old son loves cricket and really works hard. He was chosen as a captain for a 3-day tournament, and he was really looking forward to it. He prepared his strategies and was stressing over the matches. Unfortunately, the teams they were opposing were all a grade above them, and they lost all 4 matches in a row.
That night, he broke down and was very upset that he had let his team down as a captain and felt he didn’t deserve to play. He was very emotional. A child who hasn’t skipped praying at night since the age of 3 said he didn’t feel like praying that night. I felt really bad for him and prayed to my only hope, Baba. I begged Him to kindly fulfil the boy’s dream of at least winning their last game and to allow him to set a good example to the team with his performance the following day, so his confidence could return. I prayed that I would increase my Divya Pooja weeks by 2 and also submit this prayer here.
The day of the match came. I was so nervous that I didn’t even check the score live. I checked it in half-hour and one-hour intervals. Even before checking the score, I kept chanting Baba’s name. When I finally opened the live scoreboard, I saw that my son had scored huge runs in his first innings. Then came the bowling, where he performed exceptionally giving away very few runs and even taking a wicket. For a junior grade, it was very tough, but he had done an amazing job. I was already happy because I knew this performance alone would bring his confidence back.
However, the one thing we were all praying for was for them to win. And they finished beautifully with a few balls to spare. The little boys were over the moon and so was I!
Before the match, we had requested the coach to talk to my son and boost his confidence, and I felt that Baba came through him and fulfilled my wish. It made such a big difference that my son chose to bat first, set an example, and did an amazing job as captain. The coach was so happy that he even called us and told us that my son had led from the front and set a wonderful example as captain.
This is what Sai does when we lose hope in life. He makes our dreams come true but in His own timing. All He needs from us is Shraddha and Saburi. Thank You so much, dear Baba. I love You!

Sai Baba Protects My Son During a Medical Emergency
Yesterday, I posted about my son’s match. Today, during the match, while batting, my son developed breathlessness and was admitted to the ER. I prayed to Appa that nothing serious should happen and to save my son. As always, due to the grace of Appa, all his test results came back normal, and the doctor advised a week of rest nothing to worry about.
Appa, no words can express my gratitude. As I prayed, I will do the Nava Thursday fasting. Always be with my children and bless them. Thank You, Deva.
