A Sai Devotee’s Gratitude And Pooja Rituals

Procedure Of Shri Sai Divya Pooja (Vrat)

• Before doing Pooja, take a white piece of cloth the size of your palm. Put it in a turmeric and water mixture and dry it the prior day.
• Begin the Puja on Thursday. Place the idol of Lord Sai Baba or a photo on a new piece of cloth in your shrine.
• Use Chandan for the tilak of Lord Baba. Offer flowers or a garland for Baba.
• Light lamps with ghee. Also, light incense sticks and dhoop.
• Keep Lord Ganesha’s idol or photo or any other God’s photo along with Lord Baba while doing this Puja.
• Put ONE rupee or dollar or any currency coin in the turmeric cloth and tie it. Tell Lord Baba your wish and take Sankalpa (determination) to do the Puja for 5, 7, 11, or 21 weeks. Keep this next to Baba. Please note you need to tie the rupee in the cloth only on the first Thursday you begin the Puja. Keep some flowers for the Pooja.
• Do a Namaskar to Sai and chant Ashtotram Namavali (108 Names of Lord Sai Baba) while putting flowers or flower petals on Lord Baba.
• Read the 6 stories.
• After finishing this Namavali and Chapters, sing Lord Sai Baba Bhajans or meditate on Him, sing Arti, and make Khichidi for prasadam and offer it to Lord Sai Baba.
• After finishing the number of weeks you have vowed, conclude your pooja by inviting ladies, men, or kids to your house, as many as you can, give them Khichidi as Prasad, and then print the whole pooja procedure as a book and give them. You can distribute 5, 11, 21, 51, or 101 books/printouts of this pooja according to your wish.

A Devotee’s Miraculous Journey: Guided by Sai Baba through Trials and Triumphs

Anonymous Shirdi Sai Baba Devotee from USA says: Om Sai Ram! I cannot thank my Baba enough for always being with me and my family. I have been His devotee since 2012 when my cousin introduced me to this LIGHT of my life. Since then, Baba has always been by my side during my happy and sad days. I have felt His presence in every aspect of my life. I am so grateful to Him for taking me under His wing and accepting me the way I am, guiding me in every step of my life.

Last month, I had to do my routine health check-up, which included a mammogram. Surprisingly, I was advised to take an ultrasound as they found some abnormality in the images. I went for the ultrasound, and to my biggest shock, they wanted a biopsy to be done. I was petrified just by hearing the term biopsy, and the appointment for the same was after 5 days. I would sit crying in front of my Baba’s photo. My family and husband kept consoling me, saying it was just another test and to have faith in Baba. But suddenly, I was getting scared of the whole thing that was happening. For the entire 5 days, I kept breaking down while praying but ensured I applied UDI. Baba did assure me through a post that I happened to read, which said, “Everything Will Work Out. I Am In Complete Control. I Know What Your Medical Report Says. I Will Not Fail You, My Child.” That itself made me feel hopeful, but still, somewhere, I was scared too.

Anyway, the biopsy procedure was very painful, and I continued to pray even during the time of the procedure, asking Baba to be with me. After that, the next 3 days were stressful as the test report was expected to come only after 3 days. I continued to pray, but I felt so stressed out that I told Baba, “I Completely Surrender My Health At Your Lotus Feet! You Take Care Of It! I Can’t Handle This Anymore.”

On the third day, I got my biopsy report as benign (non-cancerous) findings. Immediately after receiving my report, the hospital staff called me up to confirm it is benign and there is nothing to worry about. My God! My joy knew no bounds, and I was in tears of joy. I ran to our Puja room, hugged Sai Charita to my chest, and cried, thanking Baba profusely. How is it possible that we beg Him to save us, and He doesn’t? He comes running to save us.

My family and husband are also very happy and grateful to Baba for His mercy. We all feel relieved now with His grace. I am so grateful to my Baba. Thank You and Love You for all Your blessings showered on me and my family, Baba. Ever be merciful to us.

Overcoming Health Challenges With Faith And Surrender To Sai Baba

Anonymous Shirdi Sai Baba Devotee from USA says: I had been suffering from left lower abdominal pain for the last couple of months. The pain became severe, and my doctor suggested that I have an ultrasound.

I was very scared about the ultrasound results and prayed to Baba that everything should be normal. The reports showed some complex mass in my ovary, and my doctor asked me to check with the gynecologist immediately. I was terrified and couldn’t get any appointments until the next 25 days. I constantly prayed to Baba to help me come out of this problem and asked for a positive message regarding this issue. When I opened Instagram, I saw a message saying, “You will be benefited from a friend and will have a long life,” which gave me courage during my low time.

The next day morning, unexpectedly, I called one of my friends and asked if she had any gynecologist references, and she gave me her doctor’s contact info. When I reached that doctor, I immediately got an appointment, and that too on Thursday, indicating that Baba would take care of everything. The doctor checked my reports and told me that it could be a cyst and no need to worry. For a moment, I felt/saw Baba’s appearance on her face and felt that Baba himself was telling that to me. The doctor asked me to come after a month. I went after a month, had another ultrasound, and the results now were all normal. The doctor said that she could not find anything now. I was very happy and thanked Baba a lot. But still, the pain continued until the next month.

One day, I could not take the pain anymore and prayed to Baba to relieve me from it by Ugadi (Telugu New Year) and took Udi water for 3 days. The very next day after Ugadi, suddenly my pain was gone after some coloring in the stool. This was purely his miracle, and he is always there for the one who surrenders to him wholeheartedly.

Baba, thank you is a small word for all the miracles you do in our lives. One thing I wanted to say is “You are my God, my strength, my protector. I love You and surrender myself to You until the last breath of my life.“

Here, I want to share my experience. I moved to Canada almost a decade ago, coming from a teaching background. I tried to find work in the same field, but nothing worked out. I was confused, unsure of which career path to take.

Then, I considered starting a career in IT, but the decision-making process wasn’t easy. I wasn’t sure where to begin. However, after joining Mahaparayan, Sai Baba showed me the light and guided me to start an IT course.

Despite coming from a different stream, with my honest dedication and, of course, Baba’s grace, I completed the course. After finishing the course, the Co-op program began, allowing me to work directly with a client.

My supervisor was very pleased with my work. However, just two weeks before finishing my Co-op, my supervisor decided to quit his job. I was upset and worried since I had already shown my work to him. Starting afresh with a new supervisor might take time to showcase my abilities. In this situation, I kept praying to Baba, and then a miracle happened.

My old supervisor referred me to his new company. I faced the interview with flying colors and joined the new company. It was Baba’s miracle that my previous supervisor took the new job and pulled me up there. This experience reminded me that whatever happens, happens for the good, and we must maintain complete faith in Baba.
