Dearest Baba,
I have been meaning to write to You for a while, but I got delayed. I had meant this experience to be a leela or miracle of Yours that I wanted to share with all of Your children. But what an irony, I am writing it today when I am very sad about my son’s first rejection from his dream school residency program. I was so confident that he would get admission there very easily. But first, I will show my gratitude to You for the first leela that I experienced about an air ticket purchasing experience, and then I will send a prayer request for my son’s dream school residency program.
Dear devotees, my niece is getting married in November in India. She is my only niece (my husband’s sister’s daughter). We were very upset because my sister-in-law never even tried to come for my son’s wedding here in the USA, though she has a visa and all. But I always wanted to attend my niece’s wedding. So, I asked Baba if I should attend the wedding. When Baba said yes, I was overjoyed and started looking for tickets. Baba had said no when I had asked him last year because Baba meant to say no to both me and my husband attending the function. I later realized this. This is also another leela. Baba always answers our queries and guides us correctly, though we doubt Him sometimes.
Coming back to the other leela. I started looking for tickets along with my husband. We did not find any suitable tickets from our chosen cities. Sometimes it was the timing that was not suitable, and at other times it was the price, which was going up. I had asked Baba through chits about the city I should fly to. Baba had already answered my question, but it was not suiting my requirements for some reason. Keeping my faith in Baba, I kept looking for tickets. It went on for several days. My husband was looking for tickets too. In the meantime, my husband had also talked to a travel agent. Sadly, prices had gone up a lot in the meantime. I was a little upset about that.
One day, we saw old prices again on the website, and then my husband decided to talk to the travel agent to confirm a few things. But instead of booking the same day, we both went to sleep, depending on the words of the travel agent that he would book the ticket for us the next day within 24 hours and that the price would not change. But then, the next day when my husband tried to book it, the price was much higher, and it was not from the same city that Baba had hinted. We both had a big argument, blaming each other for this. My husband suggested that I book the ticket at a higher price as suggested by the travel agent. I flatly said no. My husband angrily told me to take care of the booking and said he was not part of it. I agreed angrily. Then he went to take a nap.
After some time, I was again on my computer, and I found a very good price and the same city that Baba had told me to book the ticket to. I woke up my husband, and he was dumbfounded to see this leela. We booked the ticket at a very good price. Dear devotees, time and again my Baba has tried to make me realize that HE IS THE MASTER DOER, as the holy Satcharitra says. Baba wants us to have positive thoughts and kindness towards all our fellow human beings that includes our own family members first. TRUST BABA and HAVE FAITH.
Baba, I am sending a prayer request to you through this letter to bless my son with the best residency program in the country. My son has gone through lots of hardship, and You know everything. Please bless him. Bless my daughter with an excellent candidate for her marriage. Find someone before her birthday, Baba. I am starting my parayana from tomorrow. Please bless me so that I will share my experience very soon, Baba.
