Career Growth through Sai Baba’s Blessings

Anonymous Shirdi Sai Baba Devotee from the USA says: Hello all, I am a Sai Baba devotee for years and He is a member of our family, guiding us.
Last year, I was not happy with my job but was unsure if I should start looking for a change. Out of the blue, a recruiter reached out to me for a job with a similar title and scope. I shared that I wouldn’t consider a move unless it was one level up. He checked internally and came back saying that they were open to a higher-level role. So, we started the interview process, which turned out to be a long 2-month process involving multiple interviews. During this period, I had international work travel, which was quite exhausting.
Then one day, I got a call from my mom that my dad wasn’t well and was in the hospital. My parents live by themselves in India, while all of us siblings live in the US. They had stayed with us for 6 months and had gone back to India just a month prior. We decided to take turns traveling to India to be with our parents, and my turn was the last as I was in the middle of interviews. It was a very stressful period of managing my job, attending interviews, dealing with anxiety about my dad, and making calls to India at odd hours. My interviews finished just a day before my 1-month trip to India, and I was expecting an offer.

They did make me an offer, but the initial one was such a lowball offer that I was devastated, especially after putting in so much effort during the interviews while under extreme mental stress. I wished we had discussed compensation prior to the interviews to save everyone’s time.
I was standing in line at the airport to check in my baggage when I received another call from the recruiter. He said they really liked me, wanted to bring me in, and were now considering upping the level by one more (2 levels above my current role) to meet my compensation expectations. That is Baba, no one else can pull off the impossible! And these are leadership roles, which are rare and far between in any company!
I reached my parents’ home, continued to work from there, finalized the compensation discussions, accepted the offer, and started the background checks. In the meantime, I spent some really good quality time with my parents after a very long gap. My dad slowly started getting back into his routine, but he was not the same as before. He really missed us and felt very lonely, desperate, scared, and heavily dependent on us for moral support. It was heart-wrenching to see him like that.
I started the Nava Guruvar Vratham and gave up a food item that I really liked until my dad got better. It was time for my return trip, but my dad wasn’t fully back to normal. It was the toughest thing for me to leave them like that and return to the US. They couldn’t travel to the US with me as they had recently visited for 6 months, so they had to wait for a few more months.
I joined my new job and made it a point to call them every day after work, spending hours talking to my dad so my mom could get on with her household work. Someone or the other had to be with him, either on the phone or physically, because otherwise, he would get scared. After another 3 months, they finally arrived in the US. This trip really helped my dad recover fully. We had long family conversations some good, some not so good but they brought us closer.
After spending 6 months here, my parents went back to India a month ago. This is yet another huge blessing from Baba, who helped my dad recover and become normal so they could move on with their lives, and we could move on with ours. I started eating my favorite food again this week.
Just recently, a recruiter from a different company reached out to me with a role that had additional scope and responsibility. I thought, “What do I have to lose? Let me talk and see what Baba has planned for me.” In just 3 weeks, all the interviews were done, and I received an offer with a significant jump in compensation. I accepted it and will be joining the new company in 10 days.
This is Baba offering me two jobs within a year, in these tough market conditions, with a much bigger title, responsibility, and compensation. He creates storms to strengthen us but always stays by our side, holding our hands to help us get through them and blessing us abundantly.
There are many many more leelas of Baba that we experience in our lives everyday, sometimes they are small, sometimes they are big, but we clearly see Baba’s hand protecting us all the time. He is my father and mother and everything !!!

Sai Baba’s Blessings: A Smooth Journey Through Challenges
Anonymous Shirdi Sai Baba Devotee from the USA says: I am an ardent Sai devotee who lives in the USA with my husband and my son..
Thank you for this platform where we can submit our innumerable experiences with Baba…
My experiences with Baba occur on an everyday basis, and it is impossible for me to pen them all down. Sorry Baba, if I missed saying thank You for Your daily blessings.
Now coming to one of my experiences: I live in the US, and during this time, a hurricane was approaching our area. We had planned a trip to Europe, and I was very worried because our flights and hotel bookings were non-refundable. I prayed to Baba with all my heart, asking for no flight cancellations.
As always, Baba listened to my prayers. The flight was smooth, and we reached Europe hassle-free. Thank You, Baba, for always being with us and ensuring everything goes well. Please continue to bless us so that all our days are smooth and good.
